Hilton at St.George's Park, Burton Upon Trent

Excellent hotel with great spa pool & gym. Highly recommended

Superb location to stay after visiting the NEC. Definitely worth visiting for anyone with more than a passing interest in football. Grand entrance hall and communal areas. Good health club and 17 meter pool. Sauna and steam room could be used by children aged 7 years and over with adults. Ice scrub and ice cold shower is also fun. Good quality and variety of food both at breakfast, and dinner.

Expensive for what you got, Pillows was awful Breakfast 16.99 per person wasn't nice food was warm had to wait for eggs so food went colder while waiting, Cold pancakes, Swimming pool because it was busy had to be booked which wasn't mentioned prior to booking lucky we got a slot but was only allowed 45 minutes,

Customer service provided by Sonia (Meeting rooms) was fantastic. I was being a pain asking for something special & the next day she remembered and asked if I wanted the same thing. This little gesture meant a-lot and shows how caring she is.

Amazing hotel and the staff really want to help. Rooms excellent and manager Sarah took time to come and introduce herself. Food and service really good. Stunning views really love it here. Suites are defo worth the money.

There are numerous reasons we didn’t like our stay here as a family and I have relayed it all back in the survey after leaving. Customer service, room standards and the pool policy. Unfortunately we won’t be back as we did not feel it meet our expectations as a Hilton hotel.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here and always enjoyed our stay relaxing and enjoying the pool. However this time was a little disappointing as when we arrived at the spar to check in we were hand very old thin white towels not the fluffy cream ones we could see on the shelf. Also no robes. We asked and were told we had to bring them from our room. Our executive room did not have any robes or slippers. On our previous visits to the spar we had always been given the robes and a fluffy towel when we entered and on leaving we would leave them in the bins provide. When by the pool side this made us feel out of place as everyone else had robes and nice towels. Our room was lovely as always although we did not have robes. Dinner was lovely as usual however we did notice the sharp increase in prices. Would I go back not sure this time,

We stayed her on 6th April for 1 night and we absolutely loved it. Plenty of free parking places. The grounds of the hotel were great too. You can see all the training grounds and plenty of England Football Memorabilia. The hotel is very clean and modern. Check in is at 3pm but we arrived at 12:30pm and our room was ready and we were checked in. I am a diamond member and we were upgraded to a King Deluxe countryside room and I loved it. We received our free water and we were also left a small box of chocolates which was a lovely touch. Being a diamond member you get free access to the Executive lounge and I thought it was very nice in deed. It would have been nice if there was more soft drink selection instead of just Pepsi and Diet Pepsi and water. You can also access the gym and pool but you need to book after check in. We booked for 4pm and you get 45 mins in the pool. It was very nice and there were sunbeds around the pool which were nice. I particularly liked the heated tiled beds, they were very nice after a swim. We did eat at the hotel as we came just to chill out and the food was nice, staff great so no complaints. The room was very quiet and I enjoyed the view, especially the sunrise this morning. Breakfast was on point. It was buffet and the sausages were delicious. Plenty of choices for everyone. I really can’t fault it, we had a great stay and are already planning to stay again. If I really had to find a fault, I would say that there was no USB plug sockets in the room, however we took our mains plug so it didn’t affect us, so remember to take your plugs.
