Very good room and breakfast. The bed was comfortable and there’s a fridge with fresh milk for making tea and coffee in your room. So much nicer than those sachets of UHT. Our only regret was staying there on a Monday when the bar is open but there is no food served. Next time!

Stayed on the Friday but booked by our children as a surprise , we arrived early and was allowed to check in by the owner totally welcoming. The room was lovely with plenty of space and immaculately clean with plenty of creature comforts, evening meal was beautiful as was breakfast. The owners are super attentive and can’t do enough for you Will definitely visit again.

Booked a sunday lunch here. We received a warm welcome and sat at our table in a cosy and tasteful bar. Lovely a**osphere and no kids running amok which can often spoil a pub visit. The food was superb with generous portions and the service was excellent. My fine tuned brewery beer ( for those that like real ale ) was well kept and tasty. Good value as well, will certainly return.

A big group of us went to the Hatch last night for a Chris**as dinner/party. The food and hospitality were amazing. I recommend the goat’s cheese starter and the Chris**as pudding cheesecake…both delicious! The pub was really busy, great a**osphere.

Lovely dog frendly place. The owner showed us to our room and pointed out a dog friendly local walk. Real ale in the bar was brilliant. Super warming real fire in the bar/restaurant and well priced wine list. Fantastic breakfast, freshly cooked. Would definitely go back. Fresh milk in the room instead of the usual

Simply brilliant. A warming country pub. Excellent food and beer. We were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel at home. Room was spotless food was great. Even catering for special dietary needs. We will come back again. A very comfortable stay Thankyou.

My wife and I had made a quick plan on visiting Somerset for a nice and quiet retreat away from the chaos of Cardiff and surfed around to look for a nice hotel/inn to spend the night and enjoy the countryside. We chose The Hatch Inn and the time and money spent were totally worth it. The location, the members of staff, the simplicity and beauty of the inn, the warm welcome we received, the room we stayed with ensuite bathroom, the meal options and quality...all very highly recommended. 10/10.

Having been here a number of times for drinks and also Thursday pizza night (highly recommend, the pizzas are amazing and you can eat in or have takeaway) we actually stayed in a room for the first time for my birthday and the rooms are as lovely as the pub. Our room was warm and beautifully styled. The bath was fabulous and we had a great night's sleep. The welcome was great and we had a lovely meal, the chef really cares about the ingredients and serves wonderful food. The staff are very welcoming and the locals are extremely friendly. Our dogs were made very welcome and we just felt that the owners really cared that you had a good time. Breakfast was fantastic, some of the best poached eggs I have ever had. Thank you so much and we will soon be regulars!

We have just returned from a lovely two night stay at The Hatch Inn. What a lucky find! The Hatch Inn is in Hatch Beauchamp, which is a really cute, quiet and peaceful village. We received the warmest of welcomes on a dark, cold rainy night. Our room was really cozy and so comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant and the food was really good as was the delicious breakfast. The staff were all so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in Room 5 which is a very spacious, but cozy room and cannot wait to return! 😊
