We booked this hotel on short notice while driving through Taupo. Parking was convenient, and the hotel is right on the shore of Lake Taupo, within easy walking distance. However, the elevator was broken when we arrived, and the stairs were quite narrow, so you might want to be aware of this if you have large luggage.

A few minutes' walk from the beach, there is a natural hot spring with a pool. There is a kitchen but it is not available. The handsome guy at the front desk provides very good service. Parking is very convenient, and it takes about 4 to 5 minutes to drive to get Chinese food.

Very interesting property. Check-in was a breeze. Nice view of the lake, small (but adequate) room. A/C leaked onto table & floor, but nobody at front desk to report it to. Good location for a couple of nights max. Close to downtown.

We stay two nights in a ground floor room with a spa as was only room available. Separate bedroom with balcony that had some lake views.Room was tired and need a makeover.Bathroom clean but dated with a shower over the bath.Bed needed replacing and spa pool kept us awake as it switched on and off throughout the night.There is off street parking but does fill up quickly and some of the parks are also used by a cafe that is open from 8am to around 2pm.Limited on street parking.Is right on the lake front which was a plus.

We had a beautiful spa balcony unit which was immaculate. We arrived very late due to a road accident and detour - they were there to welcome us and let us checkout an hour later the next day due to this. Will definitely stay there again.

Room more spacious and spotless, beautiful peaceful stunning beach.
Staff were really friendly unhelpful would definitely come and stay here again
