Fantastic location! The room was well equipped and the hosts were so welcoming. Sadly we didn’t read the small print so weren’t aware that you could book dinner. Judging by the quality of the complimentary canapés, we would highly recommend that you do.

Perfect stay in Acacia Cliffs Lodge! Fantastic views with beautifully clean & comfortable rooms. Stephanie & Neil are the most professional hosts. We dined at the Lodge on our first night and it was top class food & service! Michelin star in my eyes!

Neil and Stephanie are the perfect hosts. They run a Lodge with beautiful rooms and comfortable beds that look over the lake. They serve food that observes ingredients, customs, and presentations of Local and Asian traditions. Their wine list draws from the finest local productions presented with their own label

We stayed here for 3 nights a few days after arriving in NZ after a very long overseas trip. It was pure luxury! Perhaps we didn’t read the reviews or website throughly enough, but it was over and beyond what we expected! Neil and Stephanie are not only the owners but chefs too (Neil is a trained chef) and you’re welcome to have a 5-star dinner (separate rate) nightly and breakfast is included daily. The FOOD is spectacular! It is fresh and they prep for hours to get ready for you. My husband is celiac and they made sure he had gluten free bread and meals. The view from our bedroom was stunning and although we were resting a lot, it felt like a vacation just watching the sunrise over the lake from bed each morning. They also do turn down service nightly and left cookies and chocolates for us — the room was also equipped with a bottle of wine & luxury teas. I could go on and on but it’s more than a B&B, it’s blissful, peaceful and just what we needed. We left feeling ready for our big hike in the South Island and continued travels! Thank you for a wonderful time!

This is an amazing Boutique B&B the views from our Room was stunning as are all of the rooms ..we had a wonderful stay here we were greeted by our host Stephanie who was so very nice ,a lovely touch was a personal bottle of Acacia Cliffs Wine just the little touchs make alot of difference truly a first class stay . We had a lovely fresh breakfast in the mornings and Neil is a very good cook...all in all we really enjoyed staying at Acacia and would definitely stay again when in Taupo .

This Inn is absolutely stunning the innkeepers were fabulous hosts with a lovely breakfast and also a social hour with wine samplings and delicious appetizers. The room was immaculate and the views from the living room took my breath away of the lake and the lovely sheep on property. The Lodge offers dining prepared by the hosts and the guests we met said it was the best meal in all of New Zealand I will have to return and make certain to try the sampling. This area is picturesque with the lake a short drive. I definitely recommend.

Wonderful stay at Acacia Cliffs Lodge, huge comfortable room with fabulous bathroom and lovely private courtyard. We so enjoyed the position of the lodge, with stunning views over Lake Taupo, and loved meeting and interacting with the other guests and with Neil and Stephanie, who are great hosts. Dining at the lodge one evening with the other guests, the delicious meal expertly cooked by Neil and Stephanie, was excellent. Would 100% recommend Acacia Cliffs Lodge, especially if you like meeting and socialising with other guests.

We had an excellent stay at Acacia Cliffs. A beautiful room with views over the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and joined us for drinks and canapés with other guests early evening. Delicious breakfast and evening meal too. A perfect stay - thank you Neil and Stephanie.
