Clarence Boutique Hotel

Stayed only one night but considered staying longer in this very interesting hotel. The hotel and restaurant were very welcoming. The hotel lobby, restaurant and rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. We had both dinner and the following morning breakfast, and both were delicious. The service was very attentive and friendly. Our room was very clean, the bed, bedding and pillows were of the highest quality. Highly recommend this hotel!

Sensational staff! Well appointed rooms with lovely amenities. Great shower! Clean, comfy bed. Very quiet. Plenty of milk for coffee…. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wouldn’t hesitate to return. Room service was efficient- just needed more info about availability & options.

Clarence Boutique Hotel is a heritage gem, positioned between modern buildings, makes you realise that the older buildings really have style. They have a good busy restaurant with quite upmarket food and catered very well for my allergy. Our room was spacious, very different decor, a little strange if Im honest but very clean. Bathroom was very tired but functional. The hotel has customer parking but not a lot and of a premium. Very helpful and obliging staff. My only criticism was the music in the restaurant was fine whilst dining in the evening but too loud in the morning, we could hear it in our room, too early if you wanted a lie in.

My stay here was a delight - the room and bar were exceptional but what made the stay special, were the staff. A big thanks and shoutout to Devon, Jade and Bastien but also the others who names i didn't get. I will definitely stay here again

We looked through this hotel when it was new and liked the design. The moody atmosphere is well done and it has a comfortable and friendly feel. Check-in staff were really nice and the team seems to be a happy and friendly lot. My room was average in size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom quite well set up. There was a desk of sorts at the end of the bed but it was unusable as there was no room to sit. Good power planning for devices and it was quiet and allowed for a good nights sleep. Close proximity to good restaurants and cafes.

Wonderful hotel. Great old world vibe with large rooms and great attention to detail. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, quiet, walk to CBD, easy parking, and delightful staff. We had a terrific few days here exploring the area. Ashley and Mariah were very hospitable, and helpful with our bicycle storage. The restaurant/bar was busy, yet the service was first rate. Would be happy to stay again anytime. Be mindful that the guestrooms are on the second floor and there is no lift in the building.

An unique and upmarket boutique hotel. Lovely high ceilings, exquisite use of marble and restoration work is top class. The bathrooms are a dream, hand held and rain shower are working nderful in the dark marble recess.We can not fault the service and the general ambience. The ten rooms are each different and take advantage of the quirky shapes of the room space.

Located in a great part of town. Beautiful walks nearby. Beautiful 1906 building, which served many roles. Lovely room, great bed. Bathroom well appointed. Staff-fantastic. Had early supper of chili prawns and truffle pizza. Both delicious. It gets busy, so reserve if coming later in evening.
