Mangrove Marina and Resort Aqualodge Houseboats

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The houseboat experience was above my expectations !!

This is a hidden gem. Mike is so easy to work with and so kind and helpful. Everyone we met was kind and helpful. I highly recommend this to everyone! Our houseboat had everything we needed. It was extremely spacious.

Great little spot! Checkin and checkout was a breeze, pillows were great, amenities were stocked, AC worked like a charm, and every single person we met was SO NICE! Don’t forget to stop by their tiki bar. What a gem!

We had a great time staying in the houseboats! Such a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone! The boat was equipped with everything one would need, the back dock and deck area were wonderful.

A unique experience. Stayed in the sand dollar. Perfect. But next time will do a bigger houseboat or leave dogs with family.

If you’re looking for a different kind of stay, then staying in a tiny house/houseboat is for you. We like the option of having a small loft upstairs for our team children. They gave them their own space and then us having our own bedroom. Plus you have your own kitchen that’s fully equipped to cook and a seating area and a nice deck on the end to look out over the bay or you can watch manatees and dolphin. This houseboat is on the end of the dock, it will experience a whole lot more rock because it’s basically the buffering boat for the rest of the house boats and experience is the most rocking. Of our teens did get a bit seasick in the evening overnight due to more rocking from high winds. if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing you may want to look for one of the house is located more interior, but you will not have as good of a view of the bay. We did not like how you were unable to fish anywhere in the marina so that is a bummer. We didn’t find any of the other amenities that were provided such as a small restaurant/bar or anything else to be of much interest so basically we end up staying just at the houseboat or sitting on the deck and then leaving to go enjoy other areas in the keys.

Our stay was surprisingly comfortable… we wanted something different and this was great….
