Quality Hotel Taylors Lakes

The service at the restaurant was excellent, very helpful friendly staff. The service at check in/out was ok. Room was good but I could hear the people in the room next door talking and a baby crying, so noise wise could have been better.

Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem is casting mobile phone apps to the TV was extremely difficult. Hence, I gave up and just used the the YouTube button of the remote control to watch live ABC News.

The room itself was clean and modern. The fire alarm at 3am, with no offer of discount or late check-out was inconvenient. The 10am checkout with the cleaner letting herself in at 930am was disappointing. Definitely didn't feel rested after a night here

Clean, spacious room and surprisingly quiet , given the location near a busy road. The attached restaurant was excellent.

This is my second stay at this hotel, this trip was a 1 night stay booked by my mum as a mother's day gift. She booked though agoda as it was a cheaper deal then booking through the hotel. The room was almost 100% spotless. I found a dirty tissue in the lamp hanging from roof of room (I only found due to trying to work out how to turn off the lamp) so I understand why housekeepers wouldn't have spotted it. Housekeepers were really helpful and friendly as was the receptionist when I first checked in. This review is a mixed one because of the very upsetting incident that occurred once I had ordered from there on site restaurant for room service. I ordered a soya snitzel (v) from there menu and after I began to eat I thought it was too realistic ( I have been a vegetarian for 13 years) I rang reception to confirm my order and they forwarded my call to the restaurant in which my worst fears were confirmed they had sent up a chicken snitzel instead if what id ordered.. I was heartbroken and spent the night crying and vomiting, they did replace the meal but the damage had already been done. The waiter was very apologetic which I appreciate. When I checked out I told the morning receptionist I wish to not be charged for this as it was a very serious incident (and could of been alot worst if I were actually allergic to poultry)... she agreed to remove charge but that will not be confirmed until I receive my $200 security deposit (which can take apparently upto 10 days to recieve ) ... I was upset that the receptionist brushed this incident off as if it were nothing and couldn't wait to get me out the door... im unsure whether I will stay again in the future but I know that if I do I wouldn't order from the room service /on-site restaurant again.

Staff very professional and caring.

Really clean and spacious rooms, and very quiet. We also enjoyed our meals in the Bistro. Only negative with room was that mattress was slightly firmer than we'd like.
