Couldn't make it to the property due to weather related road closures and power outages, so I called to alert the hotel and inquire about changing our reservation. I was treated exceedingly rudely and told "we'll see you later." I understand refund policies, but was looking for future availability once the road reopened and instead got treated to insults on top of that injury. Will not be repeating business at this property. There are lots of beds in Tehachapi with more comfortable amenities and it wouldn't take much to beat the customer service.

Probably a good hotel if you don’t come during the holidays. Felt like substitute personnel. Coffee machine and pancake maker didn’t work. Gym Is ok, but I was missing a mat. Kids friendly.

******* styled me out with a late change to accommodate weather on our route. Property is in good shape. Hot tub was good and hot, even in the rain, clean and ready to go.

My second stay at this hotel. Clean and of good modern standard. Recommend requesting a room opposite the road/train tracks. Average but adequate breakfast. The area that needs improvement is the attitude of the front desk staff. At both stays, at check-in and check-out, they were indifferent and borderline unfriendly. When I spend upwards of $200/night, I expect a smile and a cordial greeting. I would stay again.

Arrived just after a snowstorm and was treated great by the individual upon check-in. Had the choice of what floor and stayed on the first floor in an excellent room. Easy control for the heating system.
