Location Location Location We were very concerned that the rating of this apartment block dropped significantly from the time we booked until the time we were due to arrive. The pictures and comments from others horrified me so I had a friend who is Israeli call and express concerns about these reviews and ensure that the apartment would be ready for us on arrival late at night. He was assured that they were aware there had been issues with the cleaning staff but that a manager would check everything prior to our arrival. Still feeling apprehensive when we arrived and seeing that the outside was a lot more worn than the pictures online show, we insisted on seeing the apartment prior to paying any money. The chap on reception begrudging showed took us to see the apartment while telling us “this is why I hate people from England and America” – he seemed genuinely confused as to why we would care about what the apartment would look like when we were in Tel Aviv and should be spending all of our time outside. Yes, we didn’t expect to spend our time in the apartment all of the time, but we were planning on eating some meals and sleeping there and I didn’t want to do so in mouldy sheets – especially given the price we paid! Upon first glance the apartment actually seemed suitable – it was worn and although we had been assured it had been thoroughly cleaned, it was a surface clean only. There was a fabulous brand new American style fridge freezer and the cooker was immaculately clean – the only draw back being that the glass lid that had once covered the gas rings, had clearly shattered and there was still shards of glass all along the section where the lid met the hob. The property advertises that toiletries are included, but what this means is soap dispensers like those seen in public toilets are on the wall in the shower and by the sink. The soap is the same regardless of hand washing or body washing. The sheets on the bed were clean but again worn and had bobbling on them – new sheets would be a big improvement. We had a lamp on the one bedside table in the room, but there was nowhere to plug this into. The balcony had the most magnificent view of the beach and had enough outdoor seating for us but the glass needs a really good scrubbing. The sand and salt have damaged the glass and it looks like this hasn’t been cleaned in years. The tiling outside is chipped and has come away from the wall in places. When you come in from the beach, you invariably bring sand in with you, but there was no way to clean this up, no brush or mop provided, which we would have gladly used. In the end we ended up having to wear socks all the time or our live with gritty mess on the bottom of our feet. Our socks showed the lack of proper cleaning the floors actually received. We always had plenty of hot water and the air conditioning was fantastic. We know there were some younger groups staying in the apartments around us, but we didn’t hear any noise from them at all. I

This is the most horrendous accomodation in Israel. If you’re thinking about staying here - DON’T. The photos you see below demonstrate the mould, grime and pure filth in a penthouse apartment charging at extortionate amount tonight. On discovering how vile the condition of the flat is we complained to the manager and to *********** who refused to do anything about the situation in terms of either an apology or compensation. *********** have handled the situation horribly - refusing to remove the false advertising that is this property from their website and continuing to lie to their customers who book with them in good faith.

Exactly like the pictures online - A Brand new hotel on the beach, pool, great breakfast- and the most wonderful staff- really can’t say enough about each one of them. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay truly special. Nevo Katzav The manager was truly wonderful!

We wanted an unforgettable once in a lifetime beachfront condo for a severely handicapped man and his mom and caretaker. We paid $550/night for what could have been and should have a lovely experience but the apartment was in serious disrepair. Walls were cracked and chipped, patio furniture was broken, kitchen cabinets were cracked and falling apart, formica was broken, doors were corroded, lights were out, and much more. It is also a party location so if you are looking for peace and serenity, there is none to be had because disco music is allowed to be played to all hours of the night. If you don't ask for cleaning services (and you are entitled to it every 3 days for an extended stay), they don't offer. The washer dryer worked well. The kitchen was sp**** but they were kind enough to add items that we needed. The worst of it was that we were assured wheelchair accessability but there are 6 steps up to the landing of the elevator. So basically, our 32 year old man was stuck in the apartment. The fridge worked on and off and often it was not chilling the food so our food spoiled prematurely. The office is almost always closed with only a number to call for any concerns. I will say that Shai, who is in charge was delightful and helpful as was Edward, the handiman. But the other guy that was in the office was rude and short tempered. The location, however, can't be beat. So if that is all that matters to you. then go for it. I wouldn't go back there. For the price we paid....
