Booked a Standard Apar**ent (With Desk), check-in time 3PM. Arrived at 4:30PM the room was still being cleaned..... called the hotel (they don't have a physical reception, only a virtual one), told me they are "checking and will get back to me" no one did.... came back to check-in at 6PM just to find out that instead of the room booked we got a Disability Access Apar**ent.... bathroom in this type of apar**ent is really uncomfortable (unless you need disability access) to top it all - bathroom had no toiletries at all (website says "free toiletries"). Called to complain about it - initially the person who answered insisted that "this is what we booked" and that "they apologize for the check-in / toiletries problems" after sending them a screen-shot of the confirmation had not much more to say... after I asked for compensation they offered to check-out at 12PM instead of 10AM, that was when we were all packed and ready to go.... told them it is hardly sufficient for all the inconvenience... after a couple of days received a message offering a 10% refund as compensation which is not great but a little better, replied asking if transfer could be done using BIT (having in mind they have previously asked me to pay VAT using BIT since commissions on bank transfer will not leave anything out of these 10%), several days passed but no response yet to my question....... Bottom line location is good, room clean, service and attention to detail - VERY BAD.
