I think that the property could use some up to date upgrades. The facility shows its age. Only one hot tub works. Poor lighting on step areas made for night time navigation unsafe. Employees were awesome. Very friendly and professional. This facility’s high point I thought was the fitness room. It’s very nice.

While the grounds were amazing, especially at the swimming pools, our room was sub-par. Upon entering it felt and smelled dank, and the condition of the room was very old. The shower/toilet room was very small and not in good condition. The cleaning people did a fine job but the changes needed are beyond what a cleaning person could do.

We made a reservation a month in advance for a table on the patio to celebrate two birthdays. We arrived on time and were told we did not have a reservation--we had even called a few days prior to confirm the reservation. Eventually staff offered us a table inside and two appetizers comped while we waited for a table to open up on the patio--90 minutes later we were seated outside. One entre, Chilean Sea Bass arrived raw, it was as soft as warm jello and had to be sent back. My $55 pork chop came to the table barely luke warm as if perhaps it had been sitting for awhile after our Sea Bass was quickly thrown together when the original went to another table by accident perhaps?...I've worked in restaurants enough to know what happens in the kitchen. The manager was unapologetic. She had a room full of High School Prom dates all evening so I could feel her pain but she didn't take care of us, at the very least comping a round of drinks and offering a genuine apology would have gone a long way. Roxy with guest relations and Melissa at the front desk were amazing! They took care of us on our special anniversary weekend and we can’t thank them enough! Marriott is lucky to have these two individuals who care about their guests so much. 😀

Rooms were extremely outdated. Musty smoke smell. Window sills covered in mold. We did not get the room we reserved through *******. We were downgraded and not properly reimbursed (yet).

Our stay was as expected. The rooms were nothing fancy, but just what we needed. Beds were smaller (doubles not queens), but for two people the stay was comfortable. We booked here because of the pool and it did not disappoint. We loved that there were two sides so we could pick daily where we wanted to sit. Hot tubs were a bonus. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Arizona!
