The hotel room smells and it’s very noisy🥲

OMG it was a very nice hotel. We loved the room with all the quirky decorations. Husband and I loved the guitar hanging in the room with the large beanbag. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Staff very pleasant.

Very great hotel to stay at especially if you're gonna be there for college or just if you want to spot with everything around it without having to travel so many miles location in the middle of downtown Tempe next to the stadium yeah shopping areas all around you food city of food city pizza places you got Safeway down the street and clean the sport shops and everything food and name it it's there

We were in Tempe for a campus visit and wanted a room close to campus, and the Moxy fit that bill. The pool area is nice and we spent a late afternoon floating around. However, the vibe is trying a little too hard for this 40-something - the rooms are OK but the dark hallways and garish paint colors are very unattractive. There could be a little more attention to detail - very big dust bunnies had collected around and behind the night stand. And there was an overpowering smell of **** both evenings when we returned to the hotel (first floor near door 3).

Rooms are modern and fun. Cleaning could be better - lots of dust bunnies behind the night stand. *Very* strong odor of **** on the first floor near door 3 both evenings. The other bummer was the gym doesn't open until 6 a.m., that's pretty late. (Most hotel gyms are 24 hours or they open at 5.)

Great lobby but MOXY is lacking in basic amenities that even cheap motels offer. No refrigerator in the room and super thin and worn out comforter on the bed are unacceptable. They don't even offer soap for the shower, you have to use the hand soap pump next to the sink! Also, the check-in station at the lobby bar takes up too much bar space. It should be separate as this reduces the number of seats available and looks very cluttered.

My family and I stayed while attending a graduation. We wanted to be within walking distance of university and local transportation. The MOXY checked both boxes. We arrived around 9:00 in the evening and checked in at the bar. It was very loud, energetic, and busy. The decor is fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The girl checking us in was as enthusiastic as a wet paper towel. She glared at every child in her vicinity with daggers. I get that not everyone likes kids, but wow. After check in, I was happy to discover we were far from the lobby. You don’t want to be on the first floor near it otherwise you’re likely to be kept awake by the music. The rooms are funky, modern, industrial style. There were some mildew issues in the shower. Other than that the rooms were mostly clean. Housekeeping was absolutely lovely! The pool area is fun with lounging chairs, beds, and tables. They also have inflatable loungers for the pool. There are many games and activities indoors as well. I liked the fact that you could rent bikes from the hotel! Transit and restaurants are close. Definitely try the coffee at Honey 2 a Bee and donuts across the street at Voodoo. My daughter left her stuffy, but the young man at the desk was able to locate it and turn it over to a friend for safe return. Thank you! Overall, I would stay again if it was an adults only trip. If I needed to come for another formal event at the university, I would stay closer to the uni.
