The setting is beautiful! Aldeia de Fonte Hotel is in a very lush and green part of the island, as well as near the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks from your room. The outdoor dining area is so pretty. You feel like you are in a rainforest.

Hard beds but otherwise a fantastic experience. The hotel is a series of cottages by the ocean and has a dreamlike quality about it. It feels like something out of the hobbit. Paths wind around the facility and uncover little nooks and crannies for chilling or reading. Other paths take you along the ocean and down towards the pool and sauna. My wife said she'd come back to just stay and chill for a few days. Our room, #1, had a main bedroom and a separate living room with a bed for our third traveler. My travelers just kept repeating...'how adorable' and 'how cute is this'. The restaurant was very good and we ate there twice, sampling different meals, such as the bacon/ham pasta, code and octopus bake and baked tuna...all of which were big enough to share. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if we're back in Pico, will be sure to stay there again.

Cet hôtel possède une piscine naturelle privée juste incroyable ! Le restaurant est très agréable, sous la tonnelle avec les oiseaux. Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment très bon. La chambre et la piscine extérieure ont besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement, mais nous recommandons cet hôtel.

Foi tudo muito bom, espaço bastante agradável e com uma vista excelente. A piscina interior estava inativa mas também não deu para tomar banho, pois esteve a chover. Pequeno almoço muito completo, restaurante 5*, comida muito boa. A repetir. Preço ligeiramente mais elevado mas vale bem a pena e não é assim tão mais caro que os restantes. Situado mesmo dentro da vegetação e perto do mar.
