Encore un avis élogieux mais c'est tellement mérité ! Nous étions dans la suite d'Avelon, chambre et salle de bain magnifiques. Bon petit-déjeuner. Mais ne surtout pas manquer la visite du château (incluse dans le prix de la chambre). Pas sûr qu'il soit dans beaucoup de guides et c'est bien dommage. Vous découvrirez un lieu de transition entre le Moyen-Âge et la Renaissance avec de petits trésors d'architecture. Environ 1h15 de visite d'une richesse incroyable, menée par un châtelain passionné par ce joyau familial, magnifiquement entretenu. Mérite clairement le détour !

Ein irrsinnig schönes kleines Schloß mit sympathischer und freundlicher Burgfrau! Wir kamen etwas später, und sie hat uns nicht nur ein wundervolles Restaurant empfohlen, sondern es direkt auch für uns reserviert! Wir waren echt froh! Die Zimmer sind mehr als geräumig und sehr sauber! Die Duschen sind ebenfalls prima! Eine Nacht im Schloß, oder eine Woche, hier kann es wahrheit werden und Freude machen!

The count and countess are exceptional!!! The hospitality was incredible. The tour of the chateau was fascinating. The views very scenic. Quiet and peaceful setting. Not far from Chinon, where one can buy amenities. Highly recommend.

Muy mal, empecemos por qué no nos quisieron entender y hoy en día con Google traductor es muy sencillo. La habitación no estaban mal, había muchos trastos por medio que eran inecesarios y la habitación parecía muy pequeña. Otra cosa si duermo en un castillo y pago un dineral me gusta poder ver el castillo. Cosa qué no me dejó el dueño del lugar, pues entre en una habitación al lado del único salón qué nos dejaron estar y entró detrás y empezó a despotricar en francés. Le comento que si estamos alojados en el castillo lo más normal es ver sus estancia, pues no! Teníamos que pagar la visita, de verdad después de pagar 150 euros por una noche encima me quieren hacer pagar la visita!!! Muy mal, pero qué muy mal. No lo recomiendo para nada. No ir os van a tomar el pelo.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce très beau château, accueil agréable et simple des propriétaires, petit déjeuner copieux, dans la très belle salle a manger. Moment de convivialité partagé avec d'autres clients . Grande chambre avec terrasse et magnifique vue sur le parc, authentique avec beaucoup de charme. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la visite guidée, incontournable pour connaître l'histoire de ce merveilleux endroit, raconté avec passion et humour par Loic le propriétaire accompagné de ses 2 terribles molosses qui nous ont suivis dans cette passionnante visite. Merci à vous pour votre accueil en espérant avoir donné envie au plus grand nombre de venir découvrir cet endroit magique hors du temps

Accueil chaleureux, les propriétaires sont d'une extrême gentillesse. La visite du château avec le propriétaire est génial avec son humour. Les chambres sont spacieuse et les lits confortables. Petits déjeuner copieux, merci pour ce moment passé avec vous.

WOW! Loved our stay at Chateau de Ternay - we wanted to stay in a chateau during our family vacation to France, and this was perfect! This is the real deal - a chateau that has been in the host's family for centuries, with all the furnishings and decor that makes it authentic. This is not one of those that has been all modernized with brand new furniture, luxury spa and gourmet restaurant. If that's what you want, look elsewhere. But if you want to feel like you're really staying in an actual chateau, this is your place. And it's so lovely - tall ceilings, big fireplaces, majestic beds, imposing staircase. A true highlight was the tour with our utterly charming host - we got to see private areas of the chateau (he and his wife live there), such as the family chapel, and learned the history of the property and his family.
