酒店位置在川湯温泉位置中心，我訂了一泊兩食，酒店房間清潔面積不大，泡温泉地方算大有四個室內和一個室外，泉水是疏磺非常好，酒店前台英語能力高，check out 有專車送到 JR 站，整體好好下次會回來入往。

比較老的温泉酒店，竟然沒有Wi-Fi信號。信號川湯地區的温泉非常獨特，酸性非常強，貼的温泉泉質介紹裏寫着5寸鐵釘丟在温泉裏7-10天就能融化，因此自帶殺菌消毒作用。1樓的特產店裡木雕師傅的手藝不錯

数えてみたら、2011年5月 一人で来て以来、2012年5月（家族で）、2014年5月（家族で）、2017年2月 （一人で）、今回は家族で来て私は５回目の宿泊です。 今回も東藻琴の芝桜観光の宿として泊まりました。 阿寒湖と迷ってしまうのですが川湯温泉のお湯の良さに惚れ込んでいます。 ホテルとしては一般的な和室タイプの温泉ホテルです また近くの硫黄山の大地の鼓動を感じる光景、摩周湖の摩周ブルー、美幌峠からの屈斜路湖のパノラマ、魅力ある景勝地が多い。 今回は二連泊の利用、東藻琴の芝桜に加えて、遠軽 太陽の丘の芝桜（規模は小さいが穴場です。）、上湧別のチューリップまでここをベースに遠征してきました。（さらに足を延ばし滝上の芝桜も観てオホーツク３大芝桜を踏破しようかと思いましたが、上湧別のチューリップがすばらしかったので時間を割いたため、そこまで行くとホテルの夕食時間に間に合いそうもないので断念しました。） 今回はいつものコンパクトカーではなく余裕のある車を借りたので運転疲れも少なかった。 川湯温泉ではほかのホテルにも泊まったこともありますが、トータルでここが一番と感じ、この5回は川湯観光ホテル一択です。（これまでは個人手配での利用できたが今回は、JALの飛行機とホテルを選べるタイプのパッケージツアーを利用しました。） 新型コロナ禍はホテルの食事の提供方法にも変化を起こしていました。 以前は、個室風ダイニング、地産地消ハーフブッフェがあったのですが、今は定食方式です。やむを得ない処置でしょう。 個室風ダイニングの良さは変わりません。食事も美味しくいただけました。 高温と低温の内湯、中温の露天風呂 どの泉質も素晴らしい。 チェックイン時フロントでも注意がありましたが、お風呂の床は滑りやすいので十分注意してください。 低温のお風呂はじっくり入っていられ体の芯まで温泉効果が行きわたります。お風呂のカラン等が黒く汚れたように見えるのは温泉の硫黄成分でめっきがはがれてしまうからで手入れが悪いからではありません。誤解ありませんよう。本物の温泉である証拠です。 朝食会場は渡り廊下を渡った、コンベンションホールのラピュタホール 天井が高く気持ちよい会場です。 こんな良いホテル、泊まりたいときに予約できなくなると困るので本当は教えたくないぐらいです。（ぜひ皆さんも川湯温泉へお越しください。）

川湯温泉にある老舗ホテル、温泉の源泉はホテルのすぐ前にあります。メインテナンスを繰り返した印象のある内装、でも古さは感じません。部屋もそれなりに和モダンになっています。温泉が硫黄分が強いので、大浴場の流し場には湯分が付着していて、温泉感を出しています。 朝食はバイキングスタイルで、いい感じの地元の食材が並んでいます。満足感高いです。 スタッフの方たちも素朴でいい感じです。

You should go here with very low expectations. The hotel, like the town itself, is pretty run down. However, you will never come across a nicer staff. I would like to give a particular thank you to Takayuki Sato who helped me via email to arrange some sightseeing plans in the area. He also drove me to the train station! There was a young woman who was also very kind and helpful. I think her name was Yuka and apologize if I am mistaken. She was great.

朝のバイキングの品数が多い。源泉掛け流しの温泉、酸性強めでお肌に効果あり。ぬるめ、中くらい、熱めの3つの浴槽、ゆったり入れてくつろげました。
