Although it is a youth guesthouse, there were many elderly people as well. The toilet is on the first floor and the bedroom is on the second floor, but I was satisfied with the hot spring bath. There are no houses around Kussharo Wilderness, so I stayed here because I thought I could see the stars at night. I saw a lot of stars for the first time in a while.

- cold and unwelcoming staff
- the feeling of being a nuisance when you arrive and you are not welcome to stay (frankly checking out before 9 a.m. is excessive)

Great little hostel not far from Lake Kussharo - the dinner and breakfast were delicious, the space bright and comfortable, and there were some maps and guidebooks available to get more information about the area. The rooms were great for sharing with friends, there were big sauna tubs available for each gender (or families could take a sign to hang on the door to use together). I'd love to go back!

Since there were no blackout curtains, I woke up to light from sunrise at 3:35 AM. I can't open or close the window. It was hot and it was hard to sleep. The bath was a hot spring and the water was a little hot. A bath towel and hand towel were included. All guest rooms are on the second floor, and the toilet and bathroom are on the first floor. There was a washroom, so I can still forgive it. This was my first youth experience in 30 years, and although eating and drinking is prohibited in the guest rooms, alcohol is allowed in the dining room. I would like to stay again if they have blackout curtains.
