Lovely hotel - Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming & helpful. The Deluxe Double room was fabulous - clean, comfortable and lovely views. The restaurant was outstanding - food, staff and prices.

We only stayed one night and ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent (home made steak & ale pie with mash & vegetables) and the service extremely friendly. Really interesting hotel steeped in history. Central location with lots of pubs and shops near. Highly recommended

This is the first time we have stayed here and it was superb! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The manager had upgraded our room which was such a wonderful surprise especially since we were away celebrating our anniversary! Thank you to all for making our stay so lovely!

Booked hotel for my husband who deserved a treat after recovering from very serious illness and sight loss. He was completely overwhelmed by the beauty of our room after limited vision for many years . A very special stay for us. Thanks to the staff for making this happen for us.

Had an overnight stay parking at the back of the hotel was small but managed to park greeted on arrival with very friendly staff room was clean and fresh restaurant was clean and tidy and well laid out food excellent and all the staff was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble would stay again

Always a pleasure to stay at the Tudor every 3 weeks or so. This week another warm welcome, easy check in a spotlessly clean room.with radio on when entering the room. First time in room 401 very quiet if a bit on the small side but better than Premier Inn bed and lovely shower. The big plus on this stay - pie of the day - Fish Pie. Absolute genius so tasty especially with the pea and asparagus salad. Back in a few weeks.

WE stayed here for a couple of nights for a quick break. Our room was beautifully fitted out, very tastefully and luxuriously in keeping with the historic Tudor age. The whole hotel was fabulously decorated. When we stayed fifty years ago it was lovely then, but we were taken aback with its beauty. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, and very good evening meal, albeit only a narrow choice, but very adequate and inspired. I would recommend without a doubt.
