This is an absolute horrible property, and the general manager takes no pride in delivering customer service and maintaining the property. Front desk is mostly younger adults with no personality. In fact, the night shift auditors sit in a chair and most likely watch videos during their shift. Fitness room has no air-conditioning, so they have a large floor fan that rattles the windows. There is no water available even though they have a small refrigerator on a counter. I assume no one has time to stock water bottles in the refrigerator as they are most likely watching videos, or it’s not in their job description. There is black mold seeping through the wallpaper due to high humidity and no air-conditioning. Thirty percent of the baseboards are off and the property doesn’t seem to care. Otherwise, they would try to maintain the room. Their housekeeping is a refresh service, meaning they change towels but never make beds. Carpets in the hallways are tacked down with staples. Room furniture is outdated and minimal. This is the first hotel that I’ve stayed in that has a desk area without any lamps. Management needs to take a walk around the property and really start scrutinizing their maintenance program. I’ve been staying exclusively at Marriott properties for 18 years on business trips and this property is “hands down” it the dirtiest, rundown property I’ve ever stayed in.
