Vathi Cove Luxury Resort & Spa

Small hotel right on the private beach (sand), turquoise water. If you don't see luxury as pomp, but as well-made, clear high quality, this is the right place for you. No mass operation, everything is individual; very friendly staff, very good service. German-speaking manager and hotel owner. Airport transfers perfectly organized. There is room for improvement in the kitchen, the wines are very good. Location quite remote. This keeps it private. Half board booking is recommended. We were there twice in 2021, in June and October. Will be back.

The resort is located in a beautiful cove. The sea is something wonderful. The structure is small, there is a real sense of peace. To get there you need to travel a bit off the road but it's really worth it. Very friendly owners and staff

5 stars is not enough for such a quiet resort in August 15th. As for the freedom of access to the beach, it exists from both land and sea and in fact many outside bathers come who pay for the umbrellas. What cannot be done under any circumstances is that they have priority over the hotel's patrons. Therefore the negative reviews are not about the hotel but about the Greek ****s who want to have customer services without paying! All materials and consumables are of excellent quality and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Yay!!

Good evening, I feel obliged to make some important comments about the place. First I would like to say that until 2020 the beach was free, and I came every year, the sea and the landscape are the most magical I have visited in our Greece. Literally the most beautiful beach. So in 2021 this wonderful luxury hotel was built and to come to the beach the cost is high. (something that doesn't bother me much). The main issue in the whole affair, after we entered the hotel as a group, we were greeted by the supposed owner and I say supposed because he certainly wasn't. When I told him that I was from the area and told him that the place was very nice, and the hotel was very nice, but it was also beautiful and when it wasn't there, his answer in the singular and with irony was that nothing nice in this country is free. And all the nice things are paid for. (Cancel). 2nd when I told him that he wanted this place for years his response was: who are you to say this I don't know anyone for so many years... I ignore his rudeness and head to the beach and he still tells us that pleasures must be paid for. As we head towards the beach where we are sitting, 2 minutes later the staff tells us to go and pre-pay for the sunbeds as if we were at the neighborhood motel, as if we were leaving its closed area without paying....In a 5 star hotel again I say... 5 stars for the location 1 star for the reception of a supposed owner Unacceptable. I honestly say this as an employee of a luxury hotel in Athens. Politeness is everything, I hope you invest a little money for her (through meetings), from the millions you gave for the privatization of this beach. *behavior of staff: very polite
