YHA Broad Haven

Excellent location. Really clean kitchens and common areas. Friendly welcome. Quite remote which made it very peaceful. Close to cliff walks. Room was basic but fine for the price. Excellent value for money.

A board outside advertised a special meal deal until 2pm. We went along at 12.15 for lunch. Lights on, doors locked and no answer when knocked. Disappointing poor service.

Great location - easy access to the beach. Great breakfast - freshly cooked eggs to order!

Pleasantly surprised, wouldn’t have thought to choose a YHA in the past but price for a private en-suite room was very reasonable. Cafe on site, well stocked kitchen for self-catering, free parking and short walk to the beach. Later check in than I’m used to (5pm) was the only downside.

Booked a six night stay in early August 2025. The most important thing during any stay is sleep. All except one night were ruined mainly by continuous heavy snoring of some guests which affected others and excess noise during the night, Slamming doors etc. There are no night staff on duty to deal with any issues. I raised this as did other guests with staff during the day I was told that “ you get what you pay for”. Completely unacceptable. Any positives from Broadhaven cannot be measured with this attitude towards sleeping. 100 percent avoid if sleep is important to you. It is the number one priory for me and the other guests whose stays were completely ruined.

A delightful hostel with a very short walk to the beach! The location is stunning, the staff were amazing, the facilities were clean and the food was delicious. As an older visitor I loved the vibe! Thank you.

Problem solving team Despite several emails and phone calls there was a mix up with my booking - one night in a pod and another night in a room. I had asked to be in the room to save the time and be more eco. The reception team acknowledged the mistake and did everything they could to make this situation good. Since all the YhA team have been friendly and helpful. Bravo all.

First time In a YHA, positives were lovely staff, great cafe, fab communal areas my son loved playing pool and kitchen was great. Negatives were awful nights sleep which is kinda important. Constant slamming of doors until very late, people very inconsiderate and not taking the time to ensure doors closed quietly and mattresses very hard. Room had some mould on ceiling and spiders. Such a shame as the location next to beach was perfect but I need sleep.

Beautiful place to stay, great location next to the beach and little village. Very windy, but that's Broad Haven! We stayed in a landpod with our dogs which was very cosy, and enjoyed breakfast at the hostel the next day. Friendly staff and free parking close by. Would recommend!
