I only stayed for one night due to a mistake in my reservation, but they were happy to change my stay for two nights.

The hotel was smaller than some of the hotels in the area. It was quiet and the staff was excellent. The room was adequate for our needs. It was a little more expensive. The ambiance of the hotel was nice. I will stay there again the next time I am in Sydney.

We only stayed one night here, but the location was fabulous, the room was charming, and it was the most comfortable bed we slept on during the whole 14 nights we were in Australia. Next time we go back to Sydney we are definitely staying here.

We had the best 4 night stay here at the end of March. I contacted the hotel in advance of our arrival with a couple of requests and questions. My queries were dealt with quickly by Manager Chris & Reception Manager Diego. Upon arrival, our room was ready and was exactly as I'd hoped for. Twin beds, seating area, great air conditioning, really comfortable beds, and a good shower. We had opted for B&B and were so glad. The food is of excellent quality. I highly recommend the delicious Shakshuka. This is a quaint historic building and has been perfectly adapted as a hotel. The location is superb - on a quiet street yet right in the heart of The Rocks. On the doorstep of Circular Quay ferry terminal and public transport hubs. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a few minutes walk away - highly recommend the Bridge climb. The opera house and botanical gardens are just a little further. There are so many great places to eat or have coffee & cakes. We stayed here for 4 nights and are 100% certain we made the best choice. It was great to meet Diego in person to express our thanks. All of the staff are a credit to this hotel. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Sydney.

Full of mosquitoes, terrible old bed and stuffy, small rooms, for a very high price. The service however, was excellent, friendly and professional staff.

We stayed for one night. There was a little confusion over rates but overall excellent service, comfortable, well located. They accommodated our needs for an extra bed. Authentic, lovely ambience and interiors. We left early in the morning to drive back to Brisbane and Moss the Boss met us with a friendly smile and banter at reception.
