We didnt know there were steps to get there and another route will be slopes only to pull up all our luggages.

Looked great on the booking app but the studio room we booked was unloved and poorly furnished. Some of the curtaining had come off the hooks, the microwave oven knob fell off in my hand, some of the cutlery was dirty, there were chips off the kitchen benches, only one easy chair (there were two of us) and the king bed, which was comprised of two single mattresses pushed together, came apart in the middle during the night. There wasn’t even a shower cap in the bathroom! The view of the opera house on the first day was lovely but overnight a large cruise liner came in and completely obscured it. We were very disappointed considering the tariff we had paid. I was told I had paid extra for a view but that certainly doesn’t excuse the poor state of the room. Many of the issues we had could easily have been avoided with a little regular TLC. I did complain and was offered another room but that’s not the point. And, if you want an unobstructed view, make sure you insist on being higher than the fifth floor!

Lovely convenient location. The unit was neat and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Curtains could do with upgrade otherwise very well maintained.

A surprisingly good hotel. Whilst not a top end hotel it was very comfortable, the bed excellent, and the room size was quite spacious. The accompanying kitchenette was most useful. The best feature of all was the closeness to board a cruise ship at Circular Quay, a short 15 minute stroll down hill to the terminal. Further it is quite close to the Circular Quay rail station. Again about a 20 minute stroll to the hotel. The hotel therefore is a most convenient airport link train ride as well. I would certainly return if the price is right.

This is a lovely property.
I had the Heritage room at the front of the property, which was very atmospheric but dull in terms of natural light, but that I suppose is a product of the times.
the kitchen is a product of the 1970's but is did not need to cook
I was on the street frontage, but it was extremely quiet .
be aware if it rains too hard, there are drainage issues with the Heritage rooms
It is a really extremely well located property walking distance to everything in the The Rocks

I would stay here again! Location was perfect! Loved the quiet yet busy inner city spot! Staff were friendly and responsive. Our room had great facilities for a week long stay. I really recommend this for a reasonable priced accommodation at The Rocks!
