Loved our stay here! The property was so clean, the front desk staff was helpful and all our requests were answered promptly. We had an issue with the ac vent being in the closet of our room and the closet had an automatic light so to have air in the room the door to the closet had to be open with the light on (this was very odd) so we chatted with the front desk and the second night we were moved to a pool walkout and it was amazing! Even though it is the off season we had a great time in the pools and lazy river. Even the valets were pleasant and greeted us with smiles every time we walked by. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Awful experience. We checked in around 9pm with two little kids. The room was fine but there were clothing from previous guest in the drawer and the toilet looked not fresh and clean. I made a call to front desk. They said they are able to switch the room. Ok, we switched the room and it appears to be not the same. This was room without balcony and the tips were laying on the bed!!!! So, I call to the front desk again and said I’m tired, kids are tired and I’m willing to get back to previous room if they just took the clothes away and wipe the toilet with sanitizer. They asked to wait. In 20 minutes, I’m calling again asking how much longer we have to wait, they said 15 minutes. In 15 minutes kids are really tired and wants just to lay down and sleep. So it’s closer to 11pm my husband went down to talk to them: front desk staff pretending being busy, the valet that they sent to us to bring room key waiting to talk to them and they absolutely ignored him, when my husband stepped in to clarify the situation he had been tool that “ Why are are you complaining I already gave the $50 bar credit to your wife”. His response in slightly higher tone “ I don’t need bar credit all I need is the room to put my kids to sleep”. Front desk staff wasted another half an hour of our time and with total inability to resolve so minor issue they KICKED US OUT. This is a situation where incompetent, lousy and not empathic front desk managers can throw away a loyal returning customer ( it supposed to be our 4th stay on this property and members of Hilton Honors) - a beautiful family with two LITTLE KIDS OUT out of the property IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. Thank you for “hospitality”.

Great resort

Amazing place. 10/10.

My family is currently staying at this resort. We stayed several years ago when our kids were younger and had a great experience. So far, we've been here for almost 4 hours. Our puppy found someone else's dirty socks under the bed, but we understand that things like that can happen during busy times. More troubling that was we waited one hour and thirty minutes for room service. We called several times to follow up. Room service stopped answering the phone, and the front desk didn't seem to have any idea what was going on. Once the food arrived, it was cold and had started to harden. Clearly, our meals had been cooked shortly after we placed our order and had been sitting for all that time. In addition, we had two missing items, no utensils, no glasses or ice for our drinks, no napkins, and no way to open the bottle cap. My 12 year old also asked me to mention that the food was "nasty." We are highly disappointed.

Bike rental and lots of trails. Heated pool.

The hotel property is very beautiful, but everything else about this hotel falls short. The staff were at times actively rude. The rooms are not well appointed at all—no mini bar, no fridge, only tiny water bottles (with no where on the premises to buy more). There were no A**s and the staff weren’t able to help make change (so tipping valet, etc. is very difficult). On the day of checkout, the housekeeping staff opened my room door without knowing first twice before the 11 am checkout—once at 830 am and another at 10:00. The restaurant service was incredibly slow—it took 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee. (Kudos, however, to the valet staff who were hustling and were very friendly/helpful). To be blunt, this hotel sucks. I will not stay here again if I can avoid it.

Was a charm. Family wanted to spend entire vacation there.

We booked one night and when we tried to book a second night, we had to make a second separate reservation for the second night. Our card was charged NINE times and only TWO of those were the actual charges. That means SEVEN CHARGES that were bogus!!! Customer service said they would refund our money and give us Hilton points.... what a joke. We were going to come back in June for our children's birthday but have decided against it. We've never had this issue with Hotel Zaza or The Houstonian. All of my family and friends are being warned about this issue and I am taking it to Facebook review sites.
