The breakfast is rich in variety, and the cleaning is timely and clean. The ancient hotel has a somewhat historical and dull atmosphere. After staying for several days, only two bottles of water are provided for free on the day of check-in, and you will be charged for water afterward.

Although Monastiriou is not famous for the quality of the environment it offers, it is an area with comfortable parking and a 15 to 20 minute walk from the center of Thessaloniki. The hotel offers a comfortable service, daily hygiene, the expected breakfast and even a parking space. The rooms are quality and beautiful, when the hotel is not full, because then you might get a less comfortable room. The price-performance ratio is excellent

Situated in the centre of the city this is a fairly modern hotel. It has a spacious feel to it with a large restaurant and reception area. The food had a good variety but was buffet style and, due to the very large number of guests, the food serving area was over crowded. The room and bathroom were both fine but the bathroom needs more shelving.
Response from Property: Dear Tricia, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that you appreciated our central location and modern facilities. Your comments regarding the food service area and bathroom shelving have been duly noted for our further improvement. We strive to offer a comfortable stay to all our guests. We hope to welcome you back in the future to provide you with an enhanced experience.

We gathered our LGBT wedding celebration in Capsis Hotels Thessaloniki and it so amazing! We are very happy that we choice them. From planning, the SALES manager Ms. Anatoli /Events Manager Sir Georgios that assist our needs. With regards to the menu that they offer and did with our bugdet. They are very approaching and helpful! To the F&B manager, Ms. Ioanna are very hands on and accomodating! The event was happened on their The Alexander VIP lounge, because we had just small number of visitors. The lounge are simply elegant! The table set up was neat and they got our color motif. The staff are accomodating as well, especially Ate Juvy, our fellow filipinos. The food are all delicious and We are personally love the food that they offer and they allow us as well to make our food preference because we are Filipinos. And we surprisingly with the portion are worth and huge. We appeciately love the efforts and the service of all staff and the chef. Over all, it was amazing and excellently beautiful experience and the service are superb! Me and my partner, our family and friends really enjoye and had an memorable experience in Capsis Hotels Thessaloniki. We highly recommend them and looking forward to our next event of our life. And we wish you more success. Thank you very much.

"If you'd wanted one you could have asked for one." Only female receptionist on duty at 18.40, 07.09.2023. No bath mat in shower, fell out of and onto the bath, hurting myself in multiple places. Hotel Capsis Bristol, Thessaloniki.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, we can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

It’s a very functional, well located central large hotel, clean enough and secure. The rooms were clean, but basic, with very little decor (bizarrely a picture on the wall from Ironbridge UK). The air con in the rooms was underpowered. Rooms were quiet. Some basics needed to lift it to a 4 star (5 is out of reach) like attention to minor details - the air con remote control was very clearly broken in arrival - needed replacement, the rooms safes (x2) were both locked on arrival, and we had a number of trips to reception for replacement keys as the doors were temperamental. Lighting throughout the hotel corridors was very obviously of the energy saving variety, but done in an unimaginative prison-block style. Gym access was via escort from reception; the gym was small, extremely stuffy and hot and with woefully underpowered ventilation / air con. Top floor pool was small but pleasant, but they need to reconsider the shade options. Food and drink ok.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your comments and your rating. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again very soon!

There were school kids in our corridor. They were loud. We complained for a while, but it was ok. Then we heard every flash, shower and talk of neighbours. We couldn't sleep at all. They changed our room. There were no kids this time, but again, toilet flush, shower, and people talking. The rooms are old and need upgrading and renovating. The corner of my duvet was dirty.

Easy access and English language. I like that, though so far from home, it felt like home. The hotel and servers around made us feel welcome. I couldn't have asked for a better location, service, or food. If you get the chance to visit, don't hesitate. You will love ❤️ it.

We have traveled to 52 countries over the past 30 years. Room 520 was the most poorly designed room we have ever seen, although it was clean. To begin, the front edge of the toilet seat was about 9" from a small partition. Might work for a young person, but for a senior citizen you had to sit sideways. The bathtub was narrow, and the bath mat did not seem stable, so I used the old trick of wetting a bath towel and using it as a mat. The main problem was the "grab bar" was a joke. It was narrow, about 9" wide, placed at an angle, at knee height. To get into the tub to take a shower, for a senior citizen, was rather scary. Equally daunting was exiting onto a wet floor because the tub only had a small glass partition that was not adequate for keeping water off the floor. The grab bar also served as the storage location for the bath mat. The location of the safe was unbelievable. It was located about 2" off the floor, underneath the clothes closet. To use it would have required us to get on our hands and knees and bend down to floor level to read the instructions. Finally, the air conditioner dripped a lot of water onto my wife's suitcase and got some of her clothes wet. We paid the ******* rate for a four-night stay. I would think for a stay of this length we would get a decent room. If you use this hotel, make sure the room has a decent layout before unpacking. We should have gotten another room, but we were tired from the travel and we had both become sick.
