We stayed for one night on the way to Sunderland to see Bruce Springsteen. I only wish we'd arrived earlier to enjoy dinner in the restaurant.

Only stayed for one night lovely hotel had a great breakfast the next morning plenty of choice, some beautiful buildings in the surrounding area as was the hotel originally a coaching inn

Lovely hotel, they pay attention to details, super roomy bathroom in the room, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, good food in the restaurant and lots of choice in the breakfast menu for hotel guests. I liked how they could cater to gluten-free guests. The location on the town square in Thirsk is perfect. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Great team. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in an excellent location. We had a very comfortable king-sized bed, the bathroom was large and clean, the shower spacious. The breakfasts were tasty and the service friendly. The sitting areas are comfortable and inviting. They even have an outdoor covered sitting area. Parking was easy and convenient.

Just had lunch and feel that we were fleeced byThe Fleece. Fish butty which was hunt the fish, three slivers smaller than my little finger hidden by lots of batter. The only good bit was the salad. No value for money. The waitress couldn't careless when I complained. Don't bother ,much better places in Thirsk
