I can only rate our 2-night stay as average. There were pluses and minuses. Parking is listed on TA as an amenity of the hotel. Not so. There is no parking available on-site or next to the hotel (most lodges have at least a few spots), so we had to unload the car on the street, then drive to one of the public carparks several hundred metres away, then walk back. Our room was comfortable, with a queen-sized bed. But ..... outside our one and only window an unknown piece of equipment was running ALL NIGHT, so we had to sleep with the window closed, and with no air-con. The fan in the bathroom came on every time you turned the light on, which is fine if it didn't sound like a freight train running past. Bottom line: not a good sleep. There was also a sign warning guests we are liable to a $1500 are brigade turn up fee if we did not close the bathroom sliding door and turn the fan on when having a shower as the smoke detector is "sensitive". This was an interesting threat. If the fire brigade ever does show up, hopefully they will notice the complete absence of any fire evacuation maps for guests in case of an actual emergency. A final comment is that the hotel could do with a MAJOR reno/upgrade. For example, worn and threadbare carpet is a tad unsightly if not a trip hazard.
