It’s an older hotel, as it was summer there was plenty of hot water and room was a good size for 2 adults and a small child. It was a great location for skiing and hiking. Breakfast was basic but better than nothing. Room had a microwave, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities but no plates or cutlery for microwave use.

Dirty cups and plates in room and breakfast. Breakfast poor limited selection and service. Bed hard, tv remote broken. Everything else was Just ok.

The River Inn resort deserves a one star rating but the location is so good I bumped it up to a two. For context I went with my partner and a friend of ours and booked a double bed and bunk bed, based on pics I thought that would be ok. We got there at ~230pm on a Sunday and it was complete chaos and there were bags, boots and bodies strewn everywhere. When they eventually (4pm check in!!!) showed Us the room I was shocked at how small it was to share with with a bed and trundles all that was available. I could go on and on and on, but lowlights, were filthy cutlery, plates, tables and pretty crappy food for breakfast be plus the bar staff couldn’t even be bothered to clear out glasses from the night before!!. Teens and uni students partying all night, an extreme lack of cleanliness in the rooms, rubbish left in the hallways for the whole day, plus living on top of each other. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

Great location thats it. So much potential. Very sad looking place. This is hostel type accommodation. Room is very old and not very clean. I would not recommend it. I’m surprised that this is still allowed to sell rooms like this. Some hostels are much much better. It’s also definitely overpriced.
