I frequent this hotel often. I love the rooms. The staff. And specifically , I LOVE Norma and Nasif in Club Lounge. They are both so accommodating, kind, customer centric , and friendly. They make me feel as tho I’m “home” when I’m away. That is critically important. Thank you Marriott for hiring professionals that truly understand the essence of “hospitality”. Because of them? I’ll continue to come back. As they feel like the closest thing to family as I have when I’m on business travels

All I can say is Norma in the club lounge is nothing less than amazing! She made the experience perfect! Kudos to her! She was inviting and made special accommodations for a request I had and do this with a smile. I stay here often and she is always a highlight. She makes staying away from home that much easier by just be authentically kind.

I think this is the best full service Hotel on the West side of Richmond. I really have no complaints. The restaurant is open from morning to night. The food is good, for hotel food. And breakfast is above average. Housekeeping is good. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. Just a good location. And there are great paved walking paths around two lakes next to the hotel. *** I have stayed a number of times at the Weston and I find the Marriott superior in that it is reliably good. The Western can be good but is unpredictable, an aging property and lacks solid management. I have also stayed at the Hilton Short Pump, which feels institutional, with unappealing bar and restaurant. Appears to me it caters to the convention, not the individual traveler.

This was a first time visit to this particular hotel location. We have stayed at several other Marriott hitel locations over the years. The reason why I did not rate this at 5 stars is because I do not base my reviews on only one experience. That being said, we are staying at this same hotel this coming weekend. One staff member who rated 5 stars was Bawana Cook who serviced the M Lounge for Elite member s and their guests. Bawana greeted everyone personally. She explained & demonstrated how to get beverages from the Starbucks coffee maker. She remained positive and upbeat as more guests came into the lounge for breakfast at the same time. We were visiting the area to attend a volleyball tournament and had to be there as early as 7 -7:30 am. The tournament venue was located at the newly opened Henrico Sports & Events Center which about a 20 minute drive. She was a great representative of the hotel. We are hoping to see her again during this return visit!

Excellent hotel. The decor is pleasing, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hotel staff are professional and kind. This is definitely the hotel I prefer to stay at when traveling to the Richmond area. Short pump is a safe upscale area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Clean, comfortable & spacious rooms. I have stayed here few times & I do like the location. Easy access to restaurants & short driving distance to merge onto 64 E/W. In the month of April '24, I stayed in one of the Staywell rooms (rooms with air purifiers) & it was refreshing. In May, I stayed in one of the rooms on the 6th floor with a balcony. It's one of the good rooms at the hotel. It was refreshing to get back after a long day & lounge on the balcony. Customer service was excellent & my check in/out were smooth & a breeze. Lounge is good & it provides ample of snacks & drinks. Ilea, Tanesha & Norma Willis were excellent. They provided great customer service. Housekeeping did a wonderful job.
