Nice room, nice food, nice breakfast, nice staff, nice bar, decent pool (heated and clean but needs revamping) and nice grounds. It was very quiet as it was New Year’s Day but they still charged £10 for an extra hour at checkout.. otherwise perfect stay.

Very basic, no toiletries as described in the booking.
Window ledge inside and outside dirty and bugs so couldn't open the window.
Shower was good and powerful.
Breakfast was good hot buffet breakfast but fruits were tinned and only one type of pastries available and when they ran out no more replaced them.
Location great for getting to watford junction and train to london, car park at Watford junction only £6 for the day.

Front desk and staff where friendly however the food had a hair, the room had snot on the wall, nails on the floor and hair all over, room seemed like it had not been cleaned, very disappointed for the money

Not worth the money at all.
Swimming pool closed for lessons when you want to use it- why advertise that it has a pool when you can barely use it except after 7pm?
No fridge in room.
You're not in the main Manor house as indicated here- instead you're in a back area/side building.
Walls everywhere needed a re paint, the place looked very tired.
Only 2 coffee satchets in the stand so had to go off and find member of staff for more.
No attention to detail and no customer focus or consideration.

The grounds were beautiful and staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Varun. Our room was beautiful (Rokeby) which had 2 double beds to fit us all in. The pool needs a revamp but is clean and warm it was perfect for my kids. As a comment, we had some ice cream but as my children are dairy free they only had one option which they said was vanilla but was a coconut based ice-cream which my children don't like - some sorbets or actual dairy free vanilla ice-cream would have been good for the future.

Loved the place and the food was very good. Varun in food and beverage provided and excellent service . Bedroom doors are a bit noisy when they close. A thoroughly enjoyable experience overall . I recommend it for the weekend end away with the family

Ok as a conference centre - the staff are trying hard to be accommodating and helpful, an d the room is OK. Modern and soulless, but OK. Location lovely - grounds well kept. However, seriously disappointed in the evening dinner. I chose the rib eye steak, which cost £27. It was about 3mm thick and luke warm. 3 of us had this and all I can conclude isthey were down to their last steak and so sliced it into 3 thin slivers. I queried it with the waitress who said that was how it comes. The wine list is limited and over priced. 4 out of the 5 beers available were off. If you are staying away fro home for a conference, you want to feel some element of comfort and being looked after. So, if it were my decision, I wouldn't be booking here again

We stayed here mainly bc of the proximity to the Warner Bros Studio Tour. The pictures online looked quite nice, it looked like a nice place to stay. Our check in was a bit messy they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. Which is okay, mistakes happen. So we got a new room and it was just two twins pushed together. So if you wish to cuddle or do much of anything else be prepared for the beds to separate as they're on wheels. Fine enough for one night. But super tiny room. Tiny bathroom. Had to move the door so you could walk into the shower level tiny bathroom. My bf and I aren't large people but we couldn't move around much in the room or bathroom. We didnt get breakfast as it was £15 and we just didn't have high hopes.
