We had a fabulous night away as a mini honeymoon after getting married. The afternoon tea we had was delicious. We were really impressed with the outlook from the terrace, really beautiful views! We were also lucky enough to have a fabulous room with sea views. The spa facilities were of very high standard and there was also an outdoor pool available to use too, alongside tennis courts and golfing.

It is so lovely to return and see so many familiar faces working at The Thurlestone. I was lucky enough to have a sea view room with a balcony which was beautifully furnished and with delightful additional touches such as fresh flowers, a small bar of chocolate on the dressing table and fresh milk in the fridge. The lounges are all tastefully appointed and staff are attentive but not intrusive. There is SO much to do here that one night simply wasn’t enough (this was a business trip) but I will certainly be returning with my family later in the summer.

We have been returning to Thurlestone almost every year since 1986. It’s always a welcoming place with an inherently relaxed feel. The views are excellent and there are many walks along the coastline. Food served is first class, filled with taste and well presented. Rooms all clean and well kept.

Beautiful views from our comfortable, well appointed room. Extremely pleasant and efficient restaurant, bar, housekeeping and reception staff who do everything they can to make your visit special. Delicious food and drinks, excellent cocktails. Despite challenging weather we managed some stunning walks. When confined to the hotel we made use of the leisure facilities. A lovely break.
