Stopped by and stayed for one night. The hotel was built in 1987, which is quite old. I don’t know why, even though there weren’t many guests, the front desk still gave us a room on the first floor with an average view. It would have been better if we had been given a room upstairs. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool with no windows and not many people. There is a huge golf driving range outside. Suitable for golfers.

Good standard all round. Only criticism would be room service app. Not accepting payment so I had to go to reception to pay and collect my food, still charged £5 room service fee though.

Sorry to leave such a bad review, but….
I got a very sharp electric shock every time I touched anything in both of the rooms I stayed. I screamed it was so bad and I had to turn lights on and off and open the door using my shoe with a rubber sole.
At breakfast there was no coffee and the lady said “I’ve run out”. Not please wait a moment, so breakfast was terrible.
I had a problem with my tv, they looked at it and then it continued so they moved me to a different room, so that’s a positive. Overall the hotel is just really tired. Food was very expensive for what it is. Also shower ran cold every few moments.

We went for a school reunion, it was appalling food. My friend and I are both Gluten free. We had 2 slices of pizza, 1/2 a sandwich and 2 balls of something! For the price of £30 a head. I said to the lovely young girl who asked me how my meal was that it was awful! She went to the chef who then prepared us a prawn cocktail.

Good hotel, pretty well located if travelling by car. we had a well appointed room overlooking the golf course. the restaurant provided us with good food and excellent service.........really pleasant staff. the bar prices were a bit on the steep side, unfortunately thats become the "norm" in this class of hotel these days

The hotel itself was beautiful and reception staff was very helpful however, On the Saturday evening we decided to go to “cast iron” upstairs in the hotel for my partners birthday, we upgraded and spent a lot of money to make his birthday special and we was left so disappointed. I ordered a chicken burger with rocket and chips only to discover avocado in my burger which I can’t have and it wasn’t on the menu that I’d selected, the kitchen decided to take it from the other menu which left me very disappointed, Moving on the the desert my partner got a birthday plate bought out to him only to discover a long black hair in his cake!! We will definitely not be back. Such a shame but also very disgusting. Oh and can’t forgot the 12 fries my boyfriend got with his burger :) Avoid at all costs

I am just back from a four night stay with Eastons Holidays, and what a fabulous time I had! I loved my room 240, it was perfect. We had a great choice of menu, and so much to choose from at breakfast, plus I had some lovely glasses of Pino in the evening. It was so quiet and relaxing, and all the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. A hotel to be remembered thats for sure, warm and welcoming, a must to return to, thanks everyone, value for money as well!
