Hotel Grand One Plaza

They claimed the room type I originally booked was “noisy,” and therefore upgraded me—at an additional fee—to a room with a window facing only the interior courtyard. The AC/Heater operates erratically, producing hot and cold air at will, with the remote control offering no real functionality. The hot water supply is equally unreliable, seemingly beyond human control; on several nights, there was no hot water at all. The walls are extremely thin, making it possible to hear everything from neighboring rooms, including loud disturbances in the hallway well past midnight.

The room was not very clean. There’s stains and dirtiness on the walls and sheets and pillow. There was a big blood or p**p stain on one side of the bed it was gross. And there was hair on the bed that wasn’t ours. The AC made loud noises every 5 minutes. There was no remote for TV. The hallway light bleeds into the room at night. The bathroom floor was dirty. Quiet time was supposed to happen at 8p-10a but you could hear noise all night and in the early morning you can hear people doing their private business. I stayed here to try it out but I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s a great location though right next to Avenida Revolución you can just walk there so I really like the location I just wish it was cleaner. The noise I didn’t mind as much as the cleanliness. If things aren’t clean I don’t feel comfortable.  Parking is tough. They have free valet but it takes forever to get your car back since it’s just one guy doing everything. We waited over 20 minutes for our car so we ended up not using the valet after that and just parked far and walked back.  There’s also an arcade in the hotel that was awesome. Again if it was just more clean it would be nicer.

By far the best priced " Nice Hotel " in TJ. Even if you were to find a place for $5 to $10 less dollars take a great piece of advice look at both hotels before you book them because I bet you the West Plaza going to be worth way more to you. I'm in the next basketball player so most ex basketball players know everything by 15 ft because that's how far the free throw line is this looks like almost a square 15 the living room so that would get you at 3:25 to 350 and then you got about another $150 in the bathroom so it's plenty of room if you're a family and you need two beds the rooms are huge and one other thing I throw in if you were to bring a lot of people they better room here that I've never seen before it's cross the street from it across the room for me I wish I could take a picture of it it has three beds in it and it's beautiful

The minute scale of the lobby conveys a sense of congestion and leaves you yearning for a breath of spaciousness. This confined area undoubtedly generates an air of claustrophobic discomfort. It's a flimsy prelude to the expanse that a 30-bedroom hotel should authentically represent. A walk through the confined corridors leads you to the rooms which, regrettably, also echo the narrative of limitation. As you move deeper into the quarters, the crimped dimensions unfold rather starkly. One can't help but consider the bathrooms as a mere afterthought. Suited to the needs of a minimalist, their size threatens to confine rather than accommodate. With showers that barely offer free movement, it's a restroom experience that is far from luxurious. Furthermore, the room size itself epitomizes compact living. The accommodations, restricted in their realm, leave scant room for sprawling comfort. However, it's worth mentioning that for lone travelers or those with a penchant for coziness, the small room size can be a unique allure. On a brighter note, this diamond in the rough does hold a surprising facet at its zenith. The roof of the hotel unfolds a panoramic view of the urban tapestry. Eyes meeting the skyline, skyscrapers standing tall like guard posts, and the city lights dancing to the beats of a never-ending nightlife, endow an unforgettable experience. Therefore, despite the hotel's petite dimensions and limited amenities, this aspect proves to be an intriguing silver lining. Thus, to encapsulate, the hotel encapsulates an interesting dichotomy - of limited space and extensive views. It's an experience that tests your penchant for comfort against your desire to be close to the city's arterial pulse. Undoubtedly, this hotel might not be the epitome of luxury, yet it offers elements that appeal to certain tastes while enhancing one's city stay with invaluable city vistas.
