Two nights that were great! Cannot get any closer to the Tikal park entrance. The restaurant was excellent. The pool area looked nice but it wasn’t warm enough outside to entice us in. Our room was close to the restaurant and our car and the pool. Bring a small flashlight as there is no power overnight and the room was pitch black without a flashlight. We will come back and refer our friends!

On 3/27 as we were leaving from Playa Riviera Mexico to Cancun airport for our flight to Flores, Guatemala TAG airlines emailed us to inform us our flight had changed to Guatemala City with no connecting flight to Flores. We were stranded in Cancun. We contacted Jungle Lodge to cancel our stay as we decided to just return to back to the USA as we did not want to rent a car to drive from Guatemala City to Flores. Has been an absolute disaster for us!

I was thrilled with my experience at the Jungle Lodge Hotel! The jungle setting was so beautiful and peaceful, and the hotel landscaping and property were immaculate. The service was top notch and we enjoyed the food in the restaurant. We would absolutely stay again.

The surrounding area was beautiful, and the hotel itself was laid out perfectly however the amenities were sub-par and the food was not good at all. Also the service was very slow and staff not attentive.

The property was perfect for being in the park. Would highly recommend if you are visiting the ruins. Staff was lovely, room was clean and comfortable. You have to be ready for on and off power, no tv but relaxing and no WiFi in the rooms. The WiFi in the lodge itself was great.

We had a good experience at Jungle Lodge Hotel. We only stayed one night, but our room was comfortable and clean. As others have mentioned, we did lose power in the evening but it came back on around 5am. We ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and were impressed with the service. The servers were attentive, friendly and our food arrived very quickly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and it is such a short walk to the park.

We really liked staying at Jungle Lodge. The grounds, lobby, pool and room were all wonderful. It was nice to have easy access to a restaurant. The convenience and walkability to Tikal National Park was amazing and I’d stay here again if I were to come back. We enjoyed our Tikal tours and then lounging by the pool with a beer. The hotel does give you 2 bottles of water per day. If you need more you can buy it in the restaurant or bar for 25Q. At the entrance of the park it’s only 10Q, which is an option. The WiFi is only available in the lobby and pool areas, but they have ample seating if you are wanting to hang out on your phone. The electricity times were not a problem for us and had no trouble keeping our electronics charged. The ceiling fans in the rooms do continue to work even in the off-electricity hours (thank god). I would recommend this hotel.

Wow what a hotel and what a location. Great place to explore Tikal. Food was really good too. Airport transfers went smoothly and great communications prior to stay. Also didn’t sunrise and sunset tours arranged by hotel. Explored by myself during the day. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if visiting Tikal

Loved this hotel. Suites were very nice. Large beautiful bathroom. Restaraunt was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Stayed two nights. We were able to enjoy a Sunset tour and go on our own in the early morning, 6:30 AM, to enjoy the magnificence of Tikal. Also went on a day tour provided by Cayo Island Expedition in Belize. Enjoyed the staying in the jungle but in great comfort. Lack of air conditioning was not a problem. We were comfortable with the fans moving the air.
