Comfort Inn Kirkland Lake

Great location. Nice to have a hot breakfast.

Room was OK, halls were dingy and dirty. Breakfast was good, and food area and lobby was clean. Outside garbage was over flowing at the far side door. A little expensive for location and what you get but with limited options id stay again, it was fine.

It was awesome

The staff was very nice and the room was fine. I was thrilled that there was a bathtub. (I am so tired of hotels converting to showers, when all I really want is to sit and soak, at the end of the day.) The room was a tad small, and the bathroom could use more counter space. I had to put some things on the back of the toilet, and that means a risk of things falling in. The worst part was the tv. The tv itself was too small, and the channel selection was absurdly bad. I had to go on my tablet to watch a movie. The room appeared to be quite clean and I didn't smell any smoke or other distasteful smells, so that was a real plus. Note: You have to carry your bags up stairs to their second floor. Given the size of the town, I wasn't disappointed in the hotel, and I would go back.
