This is just not the price performance matched! The hotel rests on the location and thermal location. We were in the room with a total old school. The carpet was blinded, the carpet was full of tomato soup from the previous one. The rooms are really needing to be renovated. In the breakfast service there is no structure, as well as in the coffee shop. Long waiting times. There was a need to be improved. The cook at breakfast was filled, the melon shell was taken from the buffet, this was half full - he wanted to fill. After the motto in the shell was still place, there were just other empty shells packed for transport to the kitchen ... This is absolutely not possible for a 5-star house. Furthermore, sauce, rooster and bacon are cold, this is absolutely not warm. On the weekend the hotel director helped me, I'm asking at least that he was. This help led from our view rather to chaos. The whole service team works very relaxed at the time, it did nothing more ... Conclude: There was a lot of money paid and a bad service. Unfortunately, it was absolutely not worth the money ...

We had a wonderful stay. The view of the Lübecker Bay is simply breathtaking and has enriched our stay very much. The terrace of the hotel invites to relax and offers a perfect place to enjoy the view. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the culinary tastes very much. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. Our suite in the 2nd. The hotel has been somewhat in the years, which is visible in some places. We also felt the rolling noises in the morning as disturbing, which has somewhat affected our sleep. However, overall we have felt very well and we are already looking forward to our next stay, which is already booked! Our conclusion: A beautiful hotel with a dreamy view and very friendly staff – ideal for a relaxing leisure!

We had booked 2 nights in this hotel and were very satisfied. The rooms are very large and equipped with balcony the place to relax in the evening. Breakfast buffet was very delicious and extensive. Parking should have been booked before, as they had no longer to have after some time. However, you can still find a place to park in the surrounding area (gratis). The hotel is very central and the beach was about 2 minutes walking distance. The staff was very friendly and always meet. Very recommendable!

FÜR MICH POSITIV: 1. Sehr kurzer Laufweg vom/zum Hauptbahnhof. 2. Nur ca. 10 Minuten Laufweg zur Altstadt und zum Wasser (Trave). Bspw. ist sehr nahe Holsten-Tor gelegen. 3. Supermärkte, Drogeriemärkte u.ä. in Laufnähe. 4. Alles sehr sauber. FÜR MICH PERSÖNLICH NACHTEILIG: 1. Laut | wenig erholsam: 1.1 Laut aufgrund der Lage: Das Hotel liegt wirklich unmittelbar an mehreren Bahngleisen, einer (für Lübecker Verhältnisse) stark befahrenen Straße und aktuell kommt noch ein größerer Baustellenbereich dazu. Bei offenem Fenster Ruhe zu finden, war nur bis zum nächsten Zug alle paar Minuten möglich. Das Fenster war also zwangsläufig geschlossen. Vor allem bei sommerlichen Temperaturen und wenn man zu zweit im Zimmer ist, wenig erholsam. 1.2 Laut aufgrund der Badlüftung: Die Badlüftung lief durchgängig 24/7. Wenn man das Licht im Bad anmachte, noch lauter als so schon. 2. Sehr klein: Für ein Doppelzimmer sehr klein. Vor allem wenn beide Gäste Gepäck haben, äußerst schwierig. Zwischen Fenster und Bett war nur ein ganz, ganz schmaler Bereich zum Laufen (siehe Foto). Mein Koffer lag zwischen Bett und TV-Wand. Da ist dann vom Fenster her aber kein Laufweg mehr frei (siehe Foto). 3. Kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten: Es gibt nur zwei kleine Nachttischchen, eine Ablage/Tisch gleich neben der Badtür (links unten im Foto) und ein schmales hängendes Regal mit 3 Fächern (ganz rechts am Rand des Fotos). Eine Garderobenstange bietet 3 feste Kleiderbügel von denen 2 von mir zwangsläufig für Handtücher genutzt werden mussten, da es im Bad zwar Haken gab, die Handtücher aber über keinerlei Schlaufen verfügen, an denen man sie hätte aufhängen können. Auch gab es keine Stange oder Handtuchheizung, an denen man die Handtücher hätte aufhängen können. 4. Bad: Handtuchsituation siehe vorstehend. Keine Taschentücher/Abschminktücher. Kein Vergrößerungsspiegel zum Schminken ＞ Ich bin nur 1,65m und musste mich dadurch sehr über den breiteren Waschtisch / das Waschbecken verrenken, um mich für den Arbeitstag schminken zu können. 5. Vorhänge/Sichtbarkeit: Am Fenster gibt es nur einen dicken Vorhang. Keine lichtdurchlässige Gardine. Also: Entweder man zieht den Vorhang zu, sodass der Raum dadurch für die gegenüber auf der anderen Seite der Gleise liegenden Häuser nicht einsehbar ist - sitzt aber im Stockdunkeln bzw. muss auch tagsüber die Lampen anmachen. Oder man lässt den Vorhang offen und zeigt sich ggf. auch mal nackt. Muss man mögen. 6. Keine Minibar bzw. kein kleiner Kühlschrank, um v.a. bei sommerlichen Temperaturen mal etwas Essbares/Trinkbares reinlegen zu können. 7. Preis: Aufgrund all der vorstehend angegebenen Punkte sind 73 Euro/Nacht ohne Frühstück und für nur eine Person für mich persönlich zu viel.

GGuest UserJeden Samstagabend gibt es von 17:30 bis 20:30 Uhr einen Tapas-Abend im Country Hotel Timmendorfer Strand. Die Teilnahme kostet 33 Euro pro Person (2023) zuzüglich Getränken. Es gibt ein Büffet, einige warme Tapas wurden serviert. Leider gab es keine Menükarte auf der steht, welche Tapas im Laufe des Abends serviert werden, sodass es etwas schwierig ist, sich am Büffet zu bedienen, da man nicht weiß, was noch kommt. Bei meinem Besuch war das Restaurant nicht sehr voll, obwohl es Juni war und der Ort voll war. Es gab viele freie Plätze, die meisten Gäste waren wohl Hotelgäste mit Halbpension. Die Servicemitarbeiterin und ihr Kollege waren sehr nett und bemüht, auch der Koch war präsent und kontrollierte regelmäßig das Büffet und erkundigte sich, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Positiv war auch, dass alle Speisen, bis auf die Salate, beschriftet waren. Auf dem Büffet gab es eine Suppe, Salate, kalte Vorspeisen, warme Speisen und Nachtisch. Bei einigen Komponenten habe ich mich gefragt, wo der Bezug zu Spanien ist. Als Suppe gab es eine Knoblauchcremesuppe. Diese war schmackhaft, der Knoblauch war identifizierbar, aber der Geschmack von Gemüsebrühe dominierte. Das Salatbüffet war umfangreich, bestand jedoch zum Großteil aus zugekauften Fertigprodukten. Es gab drei verschiedene Blattsalate, Tomaten, Gurkenscheiben, Paprikastreifen, Mixed Pickels aus dem Glas, Kidneybohnensalat, hellen Bohnensalat (wenig Geschmack), Mozzarellakugeln, rote Bete Salat, klaren Kartoffelsalat, Karottensalat süß-sauer (lecker), Spargelsalat mit Ei (kaum Geschmack), Kürbissalat süß-sauer (schmackhaft). Bis auf die frischen Komponenten (Blattsalate, Gurke, Tomate, Paprika) waren es alles fertig gekaufte Convenience-Produkte, schade! Dazu gab es drei verschiedene Dressings (French, American und Vinaigrette), drei verschiedene Essige und Olivenöl. Außerdem gab es Baguette, Butter und sechs Dips, die mir jedoch alle nicht wirklich schmeckten (Aioli, Ajvar, Creme aus getrockneter Tomate, Zucchinicreme (geschmacksneutral), Auberginecreme (geschmacksneutral) und Guacamole). Daneben gab es Weinblätter, Oliven und Sushi-Ingwer, außerdem Puten-Käse-Wraps und vegetarische Salat-Wraps. Außerdem gab es ein kleines Käsebrett mit wenigen Trauben. Auf der anderen Seite des Büffets gab es Feta in Scheiben, Chorizo, exzellenten und hauchdünnen S*****en, kleine Silberzwiebeln in dunklem Balsamico (Keine Borretane Zwiebeln!), getrocknete Tomaten und gegrillte Zucchini mit Aioli gefüllt. Der Garnelensalat mit Karotte, Sellerie, Paprika, Gurke und Lauch in klarer Marinade war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und sehr lecker, die Garnelen waren allerdings geschmacklich nicht sehr intensiv. Auch der Meeresfrüchtesalat war süß-sauer abgeschmeckt und mit knackigen Gemüsewürfeln und ebenfalls schmackhaft, allerdings war in beiden Salaten der Gemüseanteil sehr hoch.
