The only hotel on the top of Penang Hill. Don't stay in room 10 as the aircon leaks n curtains have holes. However, if you like us, don't mind rustic, the views from the garden at the back are worth a million dollars. The food is good (go local). The staff are very accomodating...providing mosquito repellent, extra towels for bathroom floor, shampoo bottles, local beehoon breakfast on request. The firefly that appeared on our window netting around midnight was magical. Convenienttly located 5 minutes from top station of funicular, visit to the Habitat biosphere is a must. A family of dusky leaf monkeys appeared at brekfast, foraging from fruit trees around the back of the hotel...definitelybworth staying just for these wonderful nature moments.

difficult to go to the hotel, have to take the train up. got to buy the express lane ticket rm45 per person 1 way. Normal ticket cheaper but have to wait at least 2 hours. room very very basic, no bottled water, no toilet roll. the bath mat and carpet yucky, feels sticky and dirty. website said have slippers, but front desk said not provided. room has no tv, no toothbrush. one of the staff come to our room unannounced.really jeeds improvment

We were impressed by the staff who provided good service. The location commanded an excellent view of Penang through the day and night. A little more attention could be made towards the upkeep of the place as a whole.we enjoyed our stay and reminded us of the colonial bungalows in Cameron’s,Fraser’s and Singapore. We would like to single out Mr Zull who was helpful and friendly.

Had a great stay at Bellevue with the scenic day/night view. A small garden and basic amenities with a standing fan and large bathroom. Large room accommodate 3 single bed with lots of room to walk or even do yoga/ exercise. Always wanted to stay here whenever I came to Penang Hill ❤️
