It is always difficult to be too harsh on any hotel when most staff were plainly trying hard against the odds, but this hotel really does need to either adjust it's advertised offering, or improve the offering very significantly. The only positives were that the evening food, when it arrived, was perfectly acceptable for the price, and most the staff were helpful. Other than that however, the 'executive' room we had was beyond basic, think halfway between a prison cell and tatty premier inn room and you won't be far wrong. It was in desperate need of a total refit, especially the bathroom. It was broadly clean and had a/c. Breakfast is possibly the worst I have ever had in any hotel. The young waitress who greeted us on both mornings really couldn't be bothered to do anything, the 'buffet' was absolutely horrible and practically empty, there was NO coffee except for a packet of instant, no pastries and nothing nice whatsoever. We had dinner on two nights. As said above, the food ok for the price and the service on Friday was helpful. Service on Saturday was a different matter altogether, with a waitress who quite literally had no idea what to do, how to take an order, how to manage the tables or anything else. It honestly felt like Ant and Dec would jump out at any moment! We won't mention the wedding that was a very boisterous addition to the evenings entertainment. Only go here if you get a very cheap deal and expect a very budget experience, otherwise avoid entirely.
