Yes, it's very close to Yala Park. The restaurants and SPA are not expensive. However, when the door is opened at night, all kinds of insects will fly in and the sewer pipes are very noisy, but it's not bad.

Beautiful modern hotel near Yala National Park. Nice welcome and excellent customer service. Rooms are a good size and are very comfortable, near the pool. The gardens are exceptionally well kept and have beautiful trees and plants. The mango tree overlooking the pool area is extraordinary. Bar area is nice and welcoming. Good cocktails and helpful staff. Dinner was one of the best we’ve had this week. Good wine selection, although a bit expensive. Safari pack up available. Late checkout. I would rate this hotel as exceptional, 10/10.

Depending on what you need as a traveler, if you want to just have a clean bed and meals, this is the place. But the room was not clean at all, the pillows was yellow , the bed cover was not clean at all. Insects are in bathroom. Meals were delicious (buffet available). But some food items (pasta) were undercooked. Restaurant staff is very friendly, helpful and excellent service. But the front office staff is very unprofessional. They don't know how to talk to a customer at least. We used foot massage and it was good but very expensive (compare to the other hotel spa prices). PS: We requested an extra water bottle and cost will be LKR 300 (market price LKR 90) Very unfair rates.

We 11 friends had an excellent stay at Chaarya Resort & Spa. A special thank you to Norman De Jonk for making our stay here comfortable, happy & memorable. The staff here are pleasant & accommodating. Keep up the good work. Definitely a great place to stay & enjoy the experience.

The hotel is set spaciously in beautiful gardens. The rooms are large and comfortable with the essentials provided. Food is lovely and the staff friendly and welcoming. The pool area is lovely with plenty of loungers and shade to provide much needed sun protection. A lovely place to stay when visiting Yala National Park.

Exceptional service from Anthony the operations manager. Food was the best we have had in Sri Lanka. Staff took so much pride in their displays of food and the presentation. we were also lucky enough to witness some cultural dancing by the pool overall, I can highly recommend this resort.
