Tisia Hotel & Spa

What a wonderful discovery this was. We visited Tiszaújváros because we wanted to spend a couple of days soaking in the excellent medicinal thermal waters here - so we were very pleasantly surprised to discover such a great hotel that made our stay super special. The staff were helpful and friendly, accommodating both an early check-in and late check-out (thanks to availability) and the rooms were so elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were extra comfy, and the room was silent - we slept 10 hours thanks to the great room and relaxing waters. The food was excellent quality - although we would have appreciated a little more emphasis on vegetarian options. After all, at breakfast there were three different types of sausages but no sign of regular breakfast items such as cooked peppers, potatoes, mushrooms or tomatoes - all of which we have enjoyed at other Hungarian hotels. It would be *very* difficult to be vegan here, but the vegetarian dinner options were good as long as you don't have other dietary constraints (such as avoiding gluten or dairy). All this said, we would most certainly return and found the place good value and located immediately next to the wonderful baths (with entry generously allowed both on the full day you check-in and the full day you check-out, unlike many Hungarian thermal hotels where entry is often limited). The stay also includes free access to the excellent sauna section - we spent hours and hours enjoying it all!

A great hotel for visit a supplier in the area, Fast check in, even if we arrived earlier than normal check in time. Room was clean, and area was nice for taking an afternoon walk. Bed was supergood, and I slept with no problems. We stayed in the Hotel for the dinner, wish was good...but best was the staff in the bar that was up for some small talk. Breakfast, have all that that is needed.

We had a wonderful week at Tisia Hotel in June. The room was spacious and perfect for our needs, especially since we have a child with a physical disability. While we needed to hire a hoist to lift her, the room had plenty of space to keep it beside the bed. The hoist was easy to use, and the bed was super comfortable for her. Plus, the restaurant was a real highlight, offering delicious breakfast and dinner options. The staff were so kind and made our daughter feel like a little princess—it meant the world to us. We visit Tisia Hotel every year and highly recommend it to everyone, especially those in wheelchairs."

Nice hotel with a nice spa area connected. Good room, decent size with a normal bed. Many different pools with different temperatures, was not crowded and was ok. Buffet dinner which was quite good. Normal breakfast. Parking just by hotel.

Modern hotel with great food and ambiente It exceeded my expectations as I'm used to 4-star trash hotels. This hotel is by far the best for value. Special thanks to the lady at the reception for all the support during the stay.

Great place to spend a short holiday!

The hotel is new, beautiful, well equipped and furnished. The reception and the staff in general are very pleasant and willing to help at any time. The rooms were beautiful, large, comfortable beds, very clean and modernly furnished with tea and coffee making facilities, large LED TV and fast internet. The room includes a large balcony with seating. The bathroom was large with an extra-large glass shower and hotel cosmetics. Breakfast was always the same, with a change in 1-2 dishes, but even so, the changes were often repeated. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The dinners were rich, it was possible to choose from several dishes, but not all of them were deliciously prepared. The meat used to be dry and not well seasoned. But the pasta was perfect, especially the bolognese. Apart from the goulash and broth, the soups had a bland taste. For dinner, you can buy drinks from the bar. But the prices are not high. The bar next to the restaurant offers foreign beers and many mixed alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The drinks were perfectly mixed. The chapter itself is wellness and spa areas. The hotel includes free entrance to the swimming pools, you can use the entire outdoor swimming pool (a couple with a pool with thermal water) with many pools and attractions, as well as indoor pools, which are also with thermal water. There is also a whirlpool. The entire area is very large and beautifully maintained. It is possible to buy pool snacks (langos, hotdogs, kebabs, ...) and there is a pizzeria by the indoor pool. The swimming pool includes classic spa treatment procedures performed by specialists under the supervision of a doctor (with whom you can consult), but these are paid for. The hotel has a large covered parking lot. The only problem is the location, it is far from the center and if the spa is not enough for you, you have nothing else to do there. There is no entertainment in the vicinity (only a sports complex), but you will find what you need in the city. It is far to reach on foot, you need a car, bicycle or taxi. I appreciate that the hotel tries to be environmentally friendly.
