This establishment needs an upgrade, truly disappointing and dismal.. dark dingy rooms, corridors and the tiniest bathroom ever. The shower cubicle was so small my belly touched the sides and when I bent down the shower turned itself off. Towels were so small my body was still wet. Location is probably the best thing about it… means you can get outside and go by the lake and to some decent bars. I wouldn’t go back..

This is one of the best places I've stayed on my hiking trip in the Black Forest. Host are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is not to be missed. I love German gasthaus breakfasts, but theirs is a step above. Great way to start the day. I definitely will come here again and recommend you do too.

Estuve 3 noches en el hostal durante mi viaje por la Selva Negra. Es una casa hostal típica rural de los pueblos de la zona, muy cerca del lago Titisee, los dueños son encantadores y muy amables. Solo sirven desayunos tipo buffet muy ricos, pero muy cerca hay varios sitios donde comer y cenar.
