We were looking for a romantic getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and this was the perfect hideaway for the occasion. Rooms are quaint and full of countryside charm, as well as impeccably clean. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view of the village and surrounding countryside. Flower boxes with fragrant blossoms were in front of each window/balcony railing. We slept to the gurgling sounds of a village well right outside our window. Awesome self serve breakfast comes with nightly rate. Staff was friendly and professional without being fake -- we felt right at home. The place had a very historic feel, with pictures of the previous proprietors displayed going back three generations. The farmhouse was bombed during WW II and burned to the ground, but completely rebuilt by the family of the owner. There are walking trails throughout the forest nearby which are easily reached on foot. We hope to be back sometime!

Zeer slecht. Receptioniste, kok(corona) en 2 onbetalende gasten, die vrijwillig probeerden kok/bediening te spelen in vrijetijds tenue(goor) Overdag geen personeel, dus tot 18.00 geen eten/drinken. Na 20.00 alles dicht. Bed opgemaakt/schone handdoeken, maar geen reiniging badkamer. Teveel betaald €106 per nacht voor 2 personen. Geen enkele service

De foto’s op jullie website alsook op de facebookpagina van het hotel laten een weliswaar iets verouderd doch mooi hotel vermoeden. De ons toebedeelde kamer is gedurende de ganse duur van ons verblijf nooit gekuist. Er werd nooit de moeite gedaan om de vloer aan te vegen met als gevolg dat de kamer overal stofophopingen had. De aanwezige zetels vertoonden vlekken op de bekleding. In de badkamer was de radiatorrooster verroest. De toiletpot was onderaan helemaal aangeslagen, het is duidelijk dat hier in maanden geen deftig reinigingsmiddel is gebruikt. In bijlage foto’s om mijn beweringen te staven. De keuken werd als culinair omschreven. Ik kan U zeggen dat wij niet één avond deftig warm eten hebben opgediend gekregen. Alles was steeds lauw met als gevolg dat wanneer je bord halfweg was de rest gewoon koud was. Opmerkingen ter zake aan de bediening werden niet geapprecieerd en werden bot beantwoord. Weinig variatie in het aanbod. Meerdere keren bloemkool op het menu. De terrassen van het hotel staan vol onkruid en zijn al lang niet meer onderhouden. Met uitzondering van de maaltijden is enige consummatie beperkt tot een ijskast met een beetje drank met zelfbediening. Totaal geen sfeer. Het gevolg was dat de gasten ’s avonds allemaal waren terug te vinden op het terras van een naburig hotel. Ik heb er alle begrip voor dat gezien de coronacrisis er hotels zijn welke in moeilijk vaarwater zijn terecht gekomen. Wat ik hier heb meegemaakt is echter mijn slechtste ervaring qua verblijf. Mijn echtgenote noch ikzelf zijn muggenzifters. Als fervent wandelaars zijn wij quasi de ganse dag buitenshuis. Ik meen dat men bij terugkomst in zijn verblijf toch een minimum aan hygiëne mag verlangen alsook een deftige warme maaltijd. Het hotel was zodanig deprimerend dat wij zelfs besloten hebben om een dag eerder af te reizen.
