Nice enough hotel. Employees were great (shout out to Matt and Mary) except for a woman named Bree at the reception desk. Very rude. I have never experienced someone so awful and I have been staying at Hampton Inns for years. She could not crack a smile if her life depended on it. Very unprofessional. I heard her complaining about people behind the desk. We arrived a bit early and sadly, I had the flu. She told us we had to wait on our room. It was 1:00 in the afternoon. Evidently, they charge 50.00 if you want to check-in early even though there were plenty of rooms available. I have also never experienced this at a Hampton Inn in the past. She was bothered with storing our luggage. I then went to the restroom behind the reception counter while waiting on our room. She started beating on the door. I have no idea what that was about. It was a bizarre experience. Anyway, the rooms were spacious and clean. Our friend who was with us checked out a day earlier than us. He asked for an hour later check-out because his 82 year old Mom who was not feeling well. They told him no. The hotel was a ghost town the day they left. It was ridiculous! Needless to say, that is the last time we will be visiting this particular Hampton Inn. Bree needs a serious attitude adjustment or needs to find a job that makes her happy. Kudos to the rest of the staff for putting up with her. She is not someone who should be greeting guests when they walk in the door.
