Crowne Plaza MEXICO NORTE TLALNEPANTLA by IHG

The good: excellent customer service and the restaurant breakfast delicious. Also across the street, the best pozole in town. The bad: blasting lobby music until 9pm at night. The interior of the hotel VERY DARK. Almost uncomfortable.

This Hotel does not represent a Crown Plaza IHG cathegory in many areas. Maintenance is extreamly poor and last year cosmetic remodelation was putting lipstick in a pig. The AC in miltiple rooms continues to be a problem and don't work. Elevators many time don't work and the security key does kot allow any free movement in the hotel , if you and a friend are in different floor, you can't visit any other floor other than yours. The restaurant food continues to go down in quality, notable food shortages in breads and fruits, room service bringing cold plates to the room in many occasions several complaints and the kitchen with broken equipment and does not get fixed, food menu choices very poor and . Beds and furniture remains antiquated, and room lighting is horrible. Bathroom with bad smell and water continues with serious issues. Each day youll see a water truck loading the hotel reserve since the city water does not reach the facility. This hotel should not be a Crown Plaza at all , bed linens are antiquated and do not even offer a warm blanket for those few days of cold weather in cdmx.

Paid breakfast in advance but server tried to charge almost every day claiming his system didn’t show breakfast as paid, false advertising about a terrace restaurant, they don’t, food is bad anyway it looks they serve breakfast leftovers, two Uber drivers tried to steal my luggage.
