Very good location in Tlaquepaque the secure parking is perfect and the garden setting for the bar is wonderful. Staff are always smiling and engaged in their service. It's a great choice for some Mexican flavour.

Wow is all I can say! Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel is simply the best. The hotel itself is beautiful. The artwork and decorations are so unique and add to the ambiance. Our room was perfect, very clean, AC worked great, and there was even an ice cold/hot filtered water dispenser in our room. The beds were very comfortable and we had all we needed. Staff at the hotel was great. Friendly and helpful and always so sweet and patient with our questions. Before we left home, we emailed them asking if they could help us arrange a tour to the ruins at Guachimontones and Tequila. The next day I received a phone call from a tour guide that the hotel has worked with for years. Carlos picked us up, as we requested, at 7:00am, as the weather was very hot and we wanted to start out early to beat a bit of the heat. Carlos was so great! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent driver in a very comfortable and air conditioned van. We loved every minute of our tour. Tlaquepaque is a gem! You will not regret staying at Quinta Don Jose Boutique Hotel. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Tlaquepaque! Highly recommend!!

We visited 10 years ago. Loved it then, love it same today. Some places you return to only to find its not the same. Not so for Quinta Don Jose. Loved the grounds, the food, and the room. Continues to be on our list of places to return to! The restaurant serves a really nice breakfast, and dinner service was yum.

The reception as you walk in is so inviting and friendly. Staff were more than happy to help you in any way they can. Guests were friendly because this place just does that to you. The ambiance was one of inclusiveness due to the friendly staff, a quiet oasis off a busy street, unique and cultural art throughout the facility was amazing. Charley, Rafael, Ivan and Carlos were so accommodating, entertaining and informative. The food in the restaurant was very good. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. You will not regret it.

This is a very special hotel, made even more special by the people who work there. They went out of their way to help us and make us feel right at home. And the art that fills every space is wonderful, and the courtyards are filled with flowers and fountains. It is a very restful place with a lovely swimming pool as well. The breakfasts were delicious with many choices. The bar is welcoming, with a large selection of wines and liquors. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and we look forward to returning often.

It was a great family trip. It began with a friendly face waiting for us at the airport to take us by airconditioned van to the hotel in Guadalajara. Upon arrival and seeing the hotel for the first time what comes to my mind is traditional Mexican style and grace. No cold corporate culture of glass and metal here! All the rooms are different and full of color, air conditioned , and the showers all work great. We travelled with young children and we felt comfortable allowing them to roam around the hotel, with ready access to the pool, which they loved. The breakfasts were delicious and , again , traditional mexican food that we loved. The first day of our stay, on a friday, we spent the afternoon in the bar, very friendly staff who are engaging in conversation. The rooms were cleaned every day and the work of the staff did not interfere with our coming and going. We ordered from the menu several times in the afternoon ,poolside, and we all enjoyed the food as did the children. The location is great for quick access to all that Tlaquepaque has to offer, which is a lot. The nights were tranquil and quiet so the sleeping was good. We want to go back!

5 STARS!! All the staff was so helpful and kind, and the hotel is beautiful and clean. It's located in a convenient area close to shopping and restaurants. Great complimentary breakfast, and the restaurant is great. Rooms are unique and cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. I plan to return!

Quinta Don Jose was a fabulous place to stay in Tlaquepaque!! Clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable!! We were so surprised at the location of our room, in front of the pool and HUGE!! Thank you Estela for a wonderful stay! The location of this hotel is fantastic for shopping and eating, the best "Paletas"LOL. Great complimentary "Tequila Tasting", Lester was great, Thank you Lester!! The next day he was a great tour guide for a tour around the city and shopping!!! Fantastic complimentary Breakfast every day!! I would highly recommend this hotel for a good time in Tlaquepaque. Thank you again to all at Quinta Don Jose!!
