What can we say about our 5 start stay at Villa Santa Cruz besides the fact it was absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed. My wife and I did our one year anniversary for a week in the Cabo area. We did the final two nights in Todos Santos at Villa Santa Cruz and our stay was fantastic. We stayed in the Premiere Tented Ocean Suite and what an amazing experience! I would highly recommend staying in one of these if you can - RIGHT on the beach when you wake up. The property is wonderful - whether you are walking through the garden, the two pool areas, pickleball court or strolling down the beach. The only way to explain this resort is magical. I would suggest eating on property one night - it was Fantastic!! The staff could not have been nicer and made our stay wonderful. Make sure to get a personally made drink at the pool from Chewy! Upon arrival, Ryan will greet you, explain the lay out, amenities and take to your room. Ryan is so great. We struck up a friendship immediately and he actually took me surf fishing at one of his local spots down the road the next morning. This was an experience I'll remember forever. A 10 star place to stay for sure! And, don't forget to enjoy their french toast at their morning breakfast - mouth watering! We will be be back soon and 100% worth the short drive up the coast from Cabo to stay. Thank you Villa Santa Cruz staff!

Our stay at Villa Santa Cruz was AMAZING! This was our second holiday trip to the resort in two years! Our active family of five loves everything about this property. With adult children, life is easier, (and more fun). While this property has everything you look for, it's the little touches that make it so special. Beautiful decor. Thoughtful design. Great rooms, fantastic restaurants, wonderful pools, the most attentive staff, extra personal services - just ask!! The beach is pristine, we saw so many whales!! There is a LOOKOUT ! The kids (and mostly my husband) loved the ATV beach rentals ... I loved the Make Your Own Salsa Class ... it was so fun! They also arranged all of our transportation while were there, from airport pick up/return, to swim with WHALE SHARKS in La Paz, to spend a day in Todos Santos, the coolest little artsy Mexico town ever, to have a night out at the local restaurant with live music. My kids were on college Christmas break and tired and this place completely rejuvenated us all! We plan on visiting Villa Santa Cruz many many many times in the future!!!

The location and people! Amazing authentic breakfasts! Relaxing pool and quick walk to fun dinner place - the green room. We stayed in a beach bungalow with incredible views and seating outside. The morning coffee and tea delivery was so yummy and refreshing!

Do not hesitate any longer and book Villa Santa Cruz! The property is stunning, the attention to detail is impeccable, and the owners and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a mechanical issue with our rental car and the staff went out of their way to help get us on the road safely, felt like family.

My husband and I just wrapped up a visit at VSC. Unfortunately, due to a number of issues, we had to cut our stay very short (2 nights vs. 6). The best thing is that they have agreed to not charge us for the 4 nights we didn't use. At first I thought that we might have had a one off experience given the glowing reviews from others. I get it even best places can have a bad day in a busy season. We tried to get an explanation from the manager Jennifer (we waited for 2 days for a response to my email) and she once again minimized our comments (just like when we were there) basically insinuating that we don't know how to use hot water in the shower and we were cheap because we booked their least expensive room ($533 incl. taxes and fees) and because we didn't read carefully what we were booking. I know many experienced travelers use this forum so I encourage folks to read the details below before booking. I have also taken the time to review other travelers' feedback and it is clear this is not the first time they have received this feedback: Getting there - be prepared to drive for about 10 minutes on a dirt road. We had a sedan as a rental and it was pretty rough getting there, I don’t know what it would look like if it is raining. Google maps will send you to the next door restaurant (the Green room), not to the villa, so don’t turn in until you see their sign, right in front of their gate and I would recommend getting there during the day, it is extra hard to drive this road at night. As other travelers have noted signage can be much better. The property - The property itself is beautiful and landscaping well maintained. You can’t beat the backdrop either breathtaking beach and ocean views. There is a pool with a couple of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool water was very dirty (picture attached). I was told by the manager Jennifer that this part of the pool is supposed to be overflow that collects dirty water from the pool and it was dirty because it was windy and the pictures show that the overflow is working as supposed to. I will let folks draw their own conclusion, but from my point of view it is clear even with a naked eye that this is not dust blown by the wind. There is no signage either what this part of the pool is supposed to be and it is directly attached to the pool. They even told me the wind blew the floaties in that dirty overflow. I spent the whole day by the pool before noticing the dirty water (after I went in the water) and there was no wind (picture shows flat water), no one moved the floaties all day and no one told all the kids jumping there all day that they are not supposed to swim there. It is absolutely nuts that they let kids swim there if it is supposed to be dirty pool collection spot. You can walk to the beach but there are no chairs or umbrellas, which I didn’t mind because it keeps things more natural. The rooms/issues - We booked months ago and paid $533 per night (incl. tax & fees) for a standard que

Had another great time at Villa Santa Cruz. Enjoyed sampling some fantastic craft cocktails while lounging by the pool. Had dinner at the Green Room and at the hotel itself, both were very good. I would also recommend giving Jazamango's a try, great farm to table restaurant in downtown Todos Santos. We had an opportunity to stay in a tented ocean suite and it's worth it, great room and the view is incredible. We go to the Baja a couple times a year and this is the first time we made a repeat trip to a property we stayed at previously. It won't be the last time we stay here.

3 of us just spent a spectacularly incredible 3 nights at the gorgeous Villa Santa Cruz for a girls weekend and quickly realized that not only we will return, but will return and stay longer. We stayed in their brand new Rooftop villas (Venus) and it was an amazing stay. I think we were some of the first guests in new villas. A/C was excellent in the room and the brand new lap pool was great. Our favorite time was star gazing from the rooftop villa where we were able to gaze and hop in our personal hot tub. We would suggest that a floor length mirror be put in the room since we were unable to see how we looked when dressing as the only mirror was in the bathroom and up high. And also a heads up that the shower water/runoff did tend to flow into the bathroom floor since it's open/same level so we had to place extra towels on the floor so the rest of the bathroom wouldn't get water all over it. From our joyous welcome when we arrived, to the welcome margaritas (pineapple margarita is the best I've ever had) and the local roasted coffee brought to our room every morning with home made muffins was delicious. Everything about this place is special. The breakfast was home made from their kitchen and farm to table and some of the best food we've had at a hotel. The pool was luxurious, the massages were heavenly and we all felt so relaxed our entire stay. They had a fun happy hour and taco night that we attended and both were delicious. Everyone was so accomodating and prompt in their responses. The rooftop villas are stunning as is the entire property. The crows nest at the Palapa are great to spend watching the sunset and we had drinks at The Green Room which was also a delight. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have slept in at a boutique hotel. Such a gem; we can't wait to return. The hotel does offer transpo to/from airport; but we would suggest renting your own car so you can be easily mobile during your time here. August is humid and quite hot so we are eager to return when it's less humid to enjoy everything that this special place has to offer.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Spacious rooms, plush beds and daybeds and incredible views of the sea and property. The coffee and breakfast everyday was an incredible way to start each day and the food onsite for other meals whether it be dinner or a poolside snack was outstanding. Incredible service from everyone - I highly recommend Villa Santa Cruz and while it was very quiet I recommend a time of year other than August, it was very humid.

This was a nice hotel with beautiful landscaping . The food was delicious and the room wax spacious . We paid 658 per night and we were expecting a little more. I think it was overpriced, for a few reasons . The air conditioner didn’t cool The room that well and the bathroom didn’t cool at all so it was very hot getting ready to do anything . We did like the whats app communication, however when we asked if we could rent surfboards so my son and husband could surf out front they told us to go into town to rent them . Really no other option and since we had a smaller rental car they never got to surf out front of the hotel . For an expensive hotel they should have some beach seating and more activities for guests . Anyhow it seemed like the hotel was very slow and since they had a lot of staff kind of hanging around, maybe they could have gone above and beyond and offered to help with getting the surfboards or putting a little more effort into our small request . It was a nice property and good food so I’m giving it 4 stars but in comparison to 5 star hotels it just didn’t have the same level of service and amenities. We ended up leaving each day and driving to the beach where we could rent surfboards and have seating and umbrellas on the beach.
