Middle Beach Lodge

OMG!!! Feel almost selfish in writing this review. This place is a hidden gem. Property is flawless. Groomed trails everywhere. Panoramic views. Loved it. Housekeeping is spotty, but that woud be the only potential issue.

Beautiful location, wonderful accommodations

Middle Beach Lodge is a truly special place. After a beautiful drive up to Tofino we arrived late afternoon, checked in & had delicious homemade cookies! Settled in & set out to explore the grounds. Walking paths to & from areas of resort, had drinks on the deck & appreciated the beauty all around. There are nothing but views on this property, only nature as far as you can see. We were lucky enough to stay for 3 nights in the comfy room after long days of exploring Tofino. Spent a lot of time just sitting...even dared to swim in the crystal clear waters of the bay. Parking was steps away, easy drive in to Tofino for dinner, renting electric bikes, lunch at Shed, drinks/appetizers at Wolf in the Fog & dinner at Shelter. All great food & atmosphere. We originally planned 2 nights but the super staff found us a 3rd night. Staff was fun, interesting and full of information & suggestions. Really enjoyed visiting with them. You definitely can fill at least 3 nights in Tofino two would have been too short. Highly recommend staying at Middle Beach Lodge!

We spent a week at Middle Beach in March 2024 and loved it. It has a very relaxed vibe and the staff go out of there to help you . The lounge is relaxed and a roaring fire is kept going day and night . The breakfasts are quite simple , with limited choices. In this early season evening meals are available if there are sufficient guests. There is typically one option served and all guests dine together - we had fish every time . It was delicious and very reasonably priced and because you all done together makes for good conversation with fellow guests. You can walk to Tofino but it takes about 45 mins. Having a car here would probably be useful .

Middle Beach lodge was referred to us by friends who had stayed there previously. We were not disappointed! We stayed there three nights. The resort is situated directly on the ocean and provided amazing 180 degree views. The resort offers an adult only lodge as well as a separate family lodge and cabins. As an older couple we opted for the adult lodge and enjoyed a most restful and relaxing stay. The sitting room where we were provided a European type breakfast was warm and cozy and allowed us to leisurely read, chat with other guests and just hang out with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies after a busy day.
