Ryokan was great! Service was really good, and they specially appointed a staff who knows some English to assist us.
My 8YO boy was the only child staying at the hotel, and much care and consideration was given to him.
Onsen was amazing!!!

Excellent services & facilities. Front desk staff can speak English. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. This is one of the best onsen hotel I visited so far. It’s rating in website tells everything.

We had a wonderful time staying in a small town hot-spring Ryokan. If I had a choice I would comeback in February when the weather is cooler and more snow is on the ground.

酒店服務員態度非常好，能對應簡單英語，食物質素很好。唯獨酒吧未達標準，酒品種極少，服務員不識英語，難溝通！

越後妻有「大地の芸術祭」の折にネット予約して利用した。事前情報がなくあまり期待していなかったが、温泉も料理も想像以上だった。少し熱め温泉がなんといっても良い。肌がシャキッとして美肌＆薬湯効果を直に感じられる。十日町の山間に位置する松之山温泉は、有馬温泉、草津温泉とともに日本三大薬湯の一つだそうで、塩分が強い湯は1200年前に地殻変動で閉じ込められた海水なのだとか。「里山ごっつお」と称されたディナーは、特別高価な素材を使っていないが味も盛り付けも素晴らしく、料理人のセンスを感じるものだった。平均的な和室に泊まったが、清潔感がありアメニティも過不足はない。久しぶりに再び訪ねたい温泉に巡り合った。

非の打ちどころのない素晴らしい宿でした。 温泉はちょっと熱めでしたが、泉質はすばらしいし、露天風呂もなかなかいい。 夕食の素材、盛り付け、味付けも文句なし！ 朝ごはんも…新潟のご飯がたくさん食べられるように工夫されていて…おなかいっぱいでした。 温泉のコロナ禍でスタッフさんの対応が少し合理化されていたようですが、フレンドリーで丁寧な対応、すばらしかったです。 またお気に入りの宿が増えました。

今回の旅行ではレンタカーなどしなかったので駅から近い宿にすべきか迷いましたが、駅からの送迎もしていただき、こちらの宿にして良かったです。ご飯も地元の季節の食材を使ったお料理がいろいろありお酒も進んでしまいました。帰ってきて旅行の写真を見ながら、また食べたいなーと思い出しています。訪問は秋でキノコ料理をいろいろいただきましたが美味しかったので、春の山菜料理も食べてみたいと思いました。宿の方も感じがとても良く、お風呂も良く、とっても快適にのんびりと過ごすことができました。旅行前にウェブで調べていたら、こちらの松之山温泉では複数の宿が一緒に地元の料理を開発したり、情報ウェブサイトを作ったり、有名シェフを招いたりいろいろ活動されているようでしたが、そういう雰囲気が随所にあっていい感じを創り出しているのかなと思いながら帰ってきました。
