Hello 👋 it’s my first experience to stay at hostels. I am really enjoying to stay there, the atmosphere like a family, eating together having a nice conversation, friendly and nice staff. Neat and comfortable place, few shower rooms and toilets. It’s a bit far from the beach but they have a transfer there and even pick you up from Aharen beach 🏖️

I stay there for two days and the owner was very friendly. He pick me up at the ferry station and drive me directly to the beach. I had a great time with the worker and people who stay there. There’s a kitchen in the hostel and you can cook your food with grocery from the nearby market.

Kerama Backpackers was exceptionally welcoming on a recent stay. They met us at the port which wasn't really necessary because they are less than a 10 minute walk away. The only awkward thing is although arriving around 11am and welcomed at the port, check in was not available until 4pm. In fact check-in was only available strictly from 4-6pm. The hosts went out of their way to help us. Thank you so much! Very reasonable prices and generous service. This hostel is located in the sleepier side of the island as opposed to the more touristy area in Ahren.

It was a comfortable stay with kind staff. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where guests can eat, and guests can use the space freely. When I went to sleep at night, I closed the curtains on my private bed in the dormitory, cutting off the air conditioner and it was hot, so I slept with the curtains open. I thought it could have been improved a bit, but it was an inn that made me want to stay again. Thank you. Next time, please order a hamburger.

The owner is very friendly and kind. He picked me up with his car while I was walking to the beach. He was also kind enough to drop me off at the port the following day.
The rooms are clean and the wifi connection is very good. Overall a very pleasant experience and recommendable to everyone.

I think this is a guest house that takes great care of the details, such as transportation to and from the port and beach. The rules are on the more strict side compared to other guesthouses, but if you think of it as being considerate to others, it won't be stressful. It would be great if I could do Yuntaku next time!
