The room was spacious and clean. It was a self check in, however, the check in process was very straightforward. Plus the management responds quickly, so we did not have any problems even when we arrived 2 h early. We were able to store our luggage in our room. It is a good stay and it's only one stop away from Ikebukuro and two stops from Shinjuku.

There's also a supermarket and other basic necessities right next door.
The subway is a 3-5 minute walk.
The neighborhood is quiet and clean.
There's a washing machine and detergent.
The accommodations may be a bit uncomfortable for those with larger bodies.
The shower water runs cool, and the toilet flushes smoothly.
There are stairs from the 1st to 3rd floors.
There's no heating, so you'll need to turn on the heater while you sleep.
Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and Shibuya are all within 30 minutes.

The nearest station is on the Tobu Line, so you'll need to transfer at Ikebukuro to get into the city, which takes a bit of time, so it's recommended for longer trips. The host was very responsive, and my inquiries were addressed promptly. I loved the neighborhood atmosphere, and I'd be willing to return for another extended stay.
