We have 3 dinners in hotel during birthday. However, no greeting or gesture from any of the hotel restaurant. It is really a very poor experience. I celebrate a lot of birthday at Ritz Carlton and Peninsula hotels, they provided good greeting. The best traditional and modern mixed Japanese hotel in Tokyo!

This was our second time at Gajeon and we believe she is always our first choice hotel when we travel to Tokyo. My family enjoyed the breakfasts. Hama steak house is fantastic too. We had an opportunity to visit the museum for the first time and it was an amazing experience. Recommended.

I really like the traditional Japanese style of the hotel. If you have time, you can take a guided tour of the hotel. The guest room floors are on the 6th-7th floor, the restaurant is on the 1st floor, and the conference room and banquet hall are on the 2nd-5th floor.
